It did, it appears in red font on the entry form so I don't know what the deal is. Maybe FIM granted them an extension but I doubt AMA would have got more than a few days.
I don't have a problem sending AP and RJ. They both have shown ability put in an epic ride and that' what the MXdN is all about.
Seems like a lack of confidence in that ability to do that these days.
How can people blame racers and companies for not wanting to work for essentially free while some promoter makes $$$ off the event? World cup soccer players make serious money to represent their country. Maybe it's time to have the event every four years like other events that are similar in other sports?
Looks like Brownie and Fro are out...
It's the same knob gobblers blocking for the same clowns to protect the hive.

And this after they moved the MXdN date to better suit the AMA calendar. Not a good look……
You have to enter 3 riders by 5 September but the rules also say that you can enter replacement riders up to technical verification (which is scheduled for the Friday before race weekend) so technically AMA could (and maybe did) enter any 3 names and bought themselves time to pull the actual team together.
This just really sucks for my fellow Americans who look forward to this race more than any other race of the year. I really think there should be a burning picket line for kawi and deegan. I know that’s a stretch but how can you not.
If every country took that view, there would be no MXON.
In 2022 every other country had to foot the bill to travel to the US.
It has always been a big race on your calendar and for a while it was also one here. Now there aren’t many young MX/SX racers I know that could give a sh*t about MXdN and that is reflected in the overall disinterest here in the US. Sorry old man, things change.
All while someone made bank off their national pride? Kinda confirms my point. The event isn't about representing nations, it's about making the promoter money. 🤷♀️. Maybe if the promotor want more top riders to compete, they should share the wealth a little more, or have the event less frequently.
I think this is the crux of the situation. Why does every other country put MXDN as their first priority and we are just sitting here like; “yea, we don’t get paid so this doesn’t mean anything”. This event is supposed to be a celebration of representing your country and its turned into “I don’t get paid so it’s not worth it.”
How do we convince riders and teams this race is important so this scenario we are currently in doesn’t keep happening?
is it the money tho, seems like its just to much hassle rather than budget constraints,
Have I missed something? No announcement yet or what?
Reminds me of 2004 Leirop. Ricky was moving teams and elected not to go, james was focused on 250 class Supercross and elected not to go.
Without the star power no one else wanted to go.
I bet this would be a different story if Tomac was healthy. Then Chase and Deegan would be in.
Gajser has no chance of winning that event with his team and still has no problem with lining up.
I hope team USA figures that out, the number 1, 2, and 3 bikes need to be out there!
I really hope USA do send a team or they are going to be the laughing stock of motocross! All the other countries had no problems with sending all their riders to red bud last year so why can’t they do it? Is at a fear of not winning or is it something deeper?
I really hope this year is a fluke. Injuries, weddings, new series, bike changes, etc and it all just snowballed.
The most pathetic thing to me is factory teams just saying no. That should not be. That needs to be fixed. At a minimum I would like team managers to be asked pointed questions about it with a camera and microphone in their face. I'd also like to see the riders on those teams say unequivocally that they aren't going because their team said no. Let's just shine some light on this and see how long these teams keep it up.
Fear of not winning?? GTFO
I believe it has been clearly communicated for many years now by the teams and powers that be that the finances just don't pencil out for this one off overseas race, whether you like it or not finances and team structures matter. Riders have their own issues that impact whether they can participate also, not the least of which is the length of the season now.
And as a reminder, in the powerhouse days of the 80s Roger, MXA and others having T Shirt sales and other fundraisers to even send a team over(Honda anyone). Roger has always been a driving force behind getting teams involved (KTM anyone), and yet some on here continue to piss on him as a manager and want him replaced.
This shit isn't new, or going to change anytime soon, break out the torches and carry on.

Nothing is too much of a hassle if the money is right... but yeah. The fact it is every year does make it more of a hassle also.
Who is the event important to? I get the core fans like it. FIM or whoever the promoters are love it ($ $). The riders and teams seem to get burnt out on it after doing it once or twice. 🤷♀️
We won last year just save all our riders, we don't need any more injuries. We lost basically the whole 450 class at the end of SX.
1. Not sure what age has to do with my statement?
2. How old do you think I am?
3. That’s a sad attitude.
Whatever happened to national pride?
Tiny countries with no hope of even making the A final make the sacrifice year after year. Kudos.
In the 90s Rob Andrews, a 500 rider, was offered the GB 125 slot a week before the race, but Kawasaki didn't have a bike for him. He bought a used bog stock 125 with his own money and rode the wheels off it, all for the honour of representing his country.
If the USA doesn't show, you are losers. Literally and figuratively.
It proves American riders are all about the money, other countries riders take pride in representing their country.
I think the expected results affect a lot if people want to go or not. After 2017 MXON the Finnish Federation decided that they are not sending team unless they have chance to go top 10. So Finland didn’t send team next three years (and still wouldn’t as we are not in top 10 level yet). However in 2021 I and friend of mine from Finnish Honda asked if we can arrange the team ourselves. Thankfully we did, as now we have MXON Team Finland up and running for the third year in a row. We are not getting paid to do this and it is lot of work, but to be part of your national team at MXON is amazing and memoribilia like this makes me happy everytime I pass by it at my home. We still haven’t made it to top 10, but we keep trying

Well as an American I now find myself rooting heavily for Finland. Good luck boys!
Paging Zach Osborne.
I know he doesn't ride moto atm, but if he's healthy enough to ride, he'd give his 100%. Different Yamaha team, maybe a chance ?
Without doubt he is a great rider but being outta the gate drops for so long and without mx testing he will be severely handicapped. You cant come from the bush and expect to top 5 in today's times.
I'm not saying he'd be a top 5 guy, he'd be someone wanting to be there and give it his best effort, that's all you can ask for. I know he'd be very under prepared, but at this point it's basically grab anyone who wants to go, regardless of prep.
For sure he can run tbe pace and bring home a solid finish for a team effort. Zacko would man up if asked.
Can be difficult to get quality food and accommodation ? You do know France isn’t a 3rd world country don’t you ? They are known world wide for having the best quality food, chefs and restaurants in the world. They also have good accommodation. Showing your ignorance a bit in this post.
