I am curious if there is any word on what star yamaha changed on Dylan Ferrandis’ yz450f for unidilla?

Installed top secret power steering unit?
He was on a production style shock (modified of course) and on a production style spring fork with coated tubes (again, modified valving and such).
Bike looked better than all year.

I believe it was the Unadilla race review pod from Matthes that I heard someone else did his suspension, much like Webb did with KTM.
His tires were matched perfect and staggered special to hold the outside
That’s interesting, seems like they were chasing chassis stuff all year, and all it took was some ole’ fashioned kyb spring forks and a shock with a good setting. It’s a bummer that it’s this late in the season. He looked good.
great movie.
Which one?

Excited to see him bring it at Budds. One more lap at Unadilla moto 1 and things could have gotten really interesting
Glad to see Dylan more comfortable and charging......but did you see his bike in the braking and acceleration chop compared to Jett and Chase's bikes? HRC has those honda's dialed!
He looked good for about 10 minutes in moto 1.
Did they shorten rear shock stroke?
Seems like Dylan is working with or Atleast consulting with factory connection. Mind boggling to me he still doesn’t have a ride, I get it he seems to be a handful to work with but he’s still riding and racing at a crazy high level.

As good as Dylan is looking on that Star Yamaha...I'm a little shocked that Star isn't searching for a way to keep him on their bike, and keep him happy. But I imagine their budget is low with Eli and Cooper on the team for next year. Still...seems like where there's a will, there ought to be a way.
Eli, Cooper, and Justin*
Also, wasn't there rumor of it being a 3-man team with Tomac, Webb and JCoop? If so, then it probably just came down to simply not having enough room/budget.
Yep X2. He is recovering better and better. Within the year he should be fully recovered and healed back stronger,
torqued the sprocket bolts.
Seat bounced!
Yea…Eli is an easy decision for Yamaha….but people talk about Ferrandis being difficult to work with…well Webb is at least as bad so….why Webb over Ferrandis? All I can think of is they didn’t know Eli was still going to run SX at the time they signed Webb. The smartest combo now would still be Eli and Dylan for SX and MX. The head scratcher is J Coop. I like him a lot but for big bike outdoors it is strange to let go of Dylan when you have SX double covered. If GasGas were smart they would add a second 450. All other teams are full I think…except may Triumph….
I guess I was concentrating on the 450 riders.
Justin is 450 full-time for them in 2024.
My 2024 Star Racing contract schedule prediction:
Tomac: SX and MX
Webb: SX Only
Cooper: SX and MX on Webb's bike
More likely to be:
Eli Tomac - SX and SMX
Cooper Webb - SX, MX, and SMX
Justin Cooper - SX, MX, and SMX
That only works with a steering wheel!
