When you think of Suzuki, what rider do you picture?

Tony D because of the riding school posters plastered all over with the big Suzuki S on them. Also Ryan Mills would lay the wood to everyone on 80s at my local tracks

Incorrect, Taylor spent at least 10 years on his RM85 and is probably still riding it!👍

Pastrana for sure, although the JS7 RMZ450 with the black rear fender is one of my favourite looking motorcycles of all time

When you think of Suzuki, who first comes to mind?

For me, it’s Travis Pastrana.

I saw Cooper at 91 Millville with the #1 plate . LaRocco was super fast on the rm125 there. Denny looked great too.  Brandon Jesseman chasing Stew.  Reynard 98 unadilla & Millville. Late 90,s early 2000 anyone on a RM125 in AX.  Tommy Hoffmaster & Eron Ezerins best battle ever at Aztalan 98 on RM125,s.  Jr Jackson factory RM125. And Pastrana #1 of course.

I remember watching vhs tapes in our old clubhouse (stanmore mx club) around 80/81 , of the 125 gps of the time. They were showcasing the new at the time full floater rear end, and there was soo much slow mo footage the room was just silent watching Eric Geobers and (I guess) Harry Everts plowing through all these rough as up and downhill sections. As you could imagine, over 50% of the 125 class were Suzuki's over those next 2 years. Here in Aust at least, a sea of yellow. So yeah, it's not so much the rider but that bike.

Riders wise, it is Dungey in the USA. Here in Oz. Anthony Gunter, smashing on that last factory 400 twin shock.45 Pro Gunter-works-400

 Such a beast, Anthony Gunter

Ha, not much love for McGrath on the RM250...

I go Ezra Lusk (I remember the picture of him standing on the bike vividly) and addvAlessandro Puzar on the white Chesterfield Suzuki to add some early 90's GP flavor...

Albertyn and his epic get offs in the 90s.

McGrath in 97. At the first round of sx he got taken out by Lamson, then he got a flat at Minneapolis. If those two freak things didn’t happen he would’ve won the title and Suzuki would’ve been solid. Weird how things happen.
