Yes and No. Its Roczen, as long he’s healthy he’s gonna be quick. You don’t need a weak field for one of the best MX racers of all time to show he’s one of the best of all time.
But, it is a weak field! At least it looks like Dylan has finally come to play.
If it weren't for vital dorks buying motorcycles there would be no sport of MX as we know it.
I don’t think you know what simp means
You forgot…
”Hey, you damn kids! Get off my lawn!!!”
So stoked for KR.

One guy in the top eight finishers from last season are racing. One. The two times top guys have actually raced they kept Jett honest. A sick Sexton with a hard practice crash almost beat Jett in the second moto on Jett’s best track and even Jett said he had an advantage because he had been testing outdoors much longer than Chase who was still working on the Supercross title.
I believe Webb is just playing the long game. Points for SMX. Not that he doesn't want to win or be up front, but why risk it.
Kenny did good. I could be wrong but it looked like Jett let him ride up front for awhile before making the pass. Of course Jett never looks like he’s trying that hard anyway.
Yeah . If he was trying he may have been with 35 seconds.
To be fair , there have been some E start bikes that have been slow to restart too. Still funny timing though.
True, Kenny was leading a lot of the first moto of the season last year and when he is strong and healthy he is still fast enough to run with just about anybody still. I still do not think we have seen Jett's full speed. He did not have to get past Kenny in that second moto for the overall. So he most likely was riding inside his comfort zone. Its a bummer that Chase and Eli are hurt, Who knows what could have been. Or maybe it would be the same thing, just different guys in second and third. It was cool to see Kenny out there are going so good. It made me wish I was able to go.
Not sure what was more? The doubt in Kenny? Or thinking the depleted field was stronger than what they really are? I know I had both?
Either way it was good. Most exciting round for me so far.
Bullshit...but I take it yer answering for the "simps"? Simps spokesman so to speak. 🙂👌
Kenny rode great today. Cloudy overcast and a track that reminds him of his GP days. Hope he rides a few more this year. Jett did not have his best day and pulled a 1-1. The perfect season is his to lose.
These days people complain about anything
Ok now I’m confused. I thought he won the overall? Haven’t watched.
In Moto 1 he went down just behind Jett. They had a huge lead over 3rd so if Ken could have gotten his bike going easily he finishes second still... Maybe third. But it took him about a minute to get going again and he finished the moto in 7th.
Moto 2 went much better for him. He got second overall with a 7-2.
so JLaw2 still goes undefeated in both motos? unreal. glad for Kenny, he only had a few days preparing and he’s the first veteran to bring it to Lawrence like this, but still, wow 18 keeps the streak alive. this is crazy
Pit Row
It's really not that crazy. The only guys capable of beating Jett are hurt or in MXGP
To answer the thread title; people didn’t doubt Kenny, idiots did.
Asking as the RMX is brought up fairly often, with it's electric start and the possibility of swapping cases to an RMZ to give an electric start Suzuki mx bike without real R&D and costs.
What is the sticking point there, what makes it not that straight forward? Or is it that straight forward and Suzuki are just bone idle or don't want to throw extra weight onto an already chunky bike (on the scale, I know they don't ride like they're a fatty)?
I know the kicker isn't a problem day to day and typically it's an easy to start bike, I've never been one to shit-talk Suzuki, but like someone said earlier, "it isn't a problem... until it is."
The cases are homologated parts and can't be swapped.
It was kinda fun to see Jett also has a "beast mode". Except unlike Tomac, he still looks like he's having a cool joyride.
They can be modified, though. Honda used to put hydro clutches long before they were on their stock bikes.
If Roczen really wanted electric start, he'd probably have it.
You can't put an RMX electric start on an RMZ, anyway: the timing chain tensioner is in the way.
He can’t be up front with more then one Alpha there. Webb IMO has shown zero improvement outdoors on a 450. Millville will be his best chance for a good result.
He rode with more confidence on the blue pig at the end of 2015 then he does now. Outdoors at least.
It would have been hilarious if Jett took his e-start button to the podium with him like Kenny did with his kicker at Indy.
Love Kenny, I always liked the Suzukis. But, to me that bike looks bulky out there. Looked that way to me in SX too. Not sure what it is. Reminds me of how Stewart looked 6' tall on the Kawi, but 5'2 on the Yamaha.
Too heavy, hard to start….
I got it, Kenny needs a two stroke!
It’s not like Ken Roczen designed the bike. I’m not sure why we keep hassling him about this. That’s on Suzuki.
I mean, it is not a great look, and we have to assume that he is riding outdoors so he gets paid but he was off the pace today badly.
