Ever work for a start up or invest in one. I think there is a pretty valid concern about future support and outlook for Stark. That should not be a surprising revelation to any one. Lots of risk associated with becoming a customer.

I have no interest in bashing the bike or company but it’s kind of silly not thinking people are going to have a little doubt in the project and its future.

How many bikes do they plan to ship in their first year? Have they said? How many bikes are shipping each week or month? How long does it take to build one bike?  If you go to their site to order one today it says Dec. 2024 delivery. That seems like an awful long delivery time if they are already building and shipping bikes. Not trying to be negative, just curious.

Do the math, 17,000 pre-orders, 18 months for new orders...

17,000 / 18 = 944 per month

or 44 per week day

Stark posted a video showing battery assembly, battery cell placement took 3 seconds, 200 battery cells per side, 2 battery assembly lines, 1 for each side of the battery pack....

200 x 3 = 600 seconds = 10 minutes

or 48 per day if running 1 shift.

If you want a Stark Varg and you haven't ordered yet, you have a long wait!

The Varg has gone Freestyle in Europe. First show at the ¨hoschidays¨ festival in Switzerland.

Doesn't look like too much trouble to whip a 260 lbs bike here:

Yah I can understand being worried about the long-term  stuff with a new company or even a new model.  Maybe I'm wrong , but I think that most of the people here  are open to legit concerns about the Varg.  The bummer is that people always bring up the same things no matter what the thread started off being , if it is about a Varg in anyway. Bryan , the creator of this thread has said he welcomes all feedback. I think its just when people are  moving the goalposts  and calling them scammers , etc. that they get labeled as haters.    But I could be wrong.

Haha already have something in the works for that Wink .

It's kinda fun being the guy who is discovering where improvements can be made, even in areas where extra protection is needed.

Probably helping Billy out developing a clamp for the bike is my guess.

Looked like they were also drafting link arm pieces too. No reason the Luxon drip can't be made for these too.

Might just be the option to get free parts/ help Luxon with a bike to build parts and customize the bike to look different.   A lot of aftermarket brands will offer up free or big discounts on parts or services on new models when they are some of the earlier releases. They need to get their hands on a bike to make the parts somehow. I used to offer free graphics to customers with new models I could template. Now there are a few places that offer amazing templates and normally have them available by the time I need them. I bet that there are a lot of companies lining up to offer parts to Bryan.

Triumph did not take people's money based on one set of specifications (specifically weight) and delivery dates, and then change them via carefully spun PR messages.  Triumph did not announce "we're in production and shipping bikes", and then 5-6 weeks later, only actually deliver 1 bike.

Triumph is behaving exactly as I'd expect a well established motorcycle manufacturer to behave.  They will show the bike when it's ready.

I am not against Stark or Customer #1, but I do raise an eyebrow to Stark's way of doing things so far.  They must assume we're all so stupid that we'll just take all the PR at face value and not take a step back and think for ourselves.

Welcome to the world of pre-orders. I am firmly in the stance of never purchasing anything based on hopes and promises (wasn't there suppose to be a Tesla truck a few years ago?) but just because a company decides to roll out a thing based on that model doesn't mean it's a scam.

I'm honestly so confused as to why people who have 0 investment or real interests keep commenting in these threads as if it's some sort of rug pull. Where is the next goal post going to be moved to? First it was the bike didn't exist, then when OP got his bike suddenly he was a Stark shill and it's still a scam. Seriously, why must everything be  a conspiracy theory in today's world?

My view, is and has been, that this is really exciting tech, and hope they succeed bigly. I'm also watching for the new Can-Ams to get here. But the fact that there has been no other delivered Vargs (to either a customer or dealer) surface a month after this one landed is a bit of a let down - no?

Happy to partner with Luxon MX to develop some trick products for Stark Varg customers worldwide! First product will be Gen 3 style triple clamps that will offer adjustable offset and 6 handlebar mounting positions, adding lots of adjustability for the rider. Other products will come down the road!

Very cool video Bryan, Billy definitely knows his stuff!! Luxon products are absolutely beautiful, and perform amazingly well. I’d recommend Billy and Luxon to anyone who wants premium parts and awesome engineering! I think it’s pretty rad that someone in the industry always gives the Vital members such in-depth information and explanations of what’s actually going on with the products we love 👍.  Thanks Billy!

It’s all for youtube views. Post them on the forum like a normal human being and nobody would watch the video. That‘s just what influencers do.

With the amount of work it can take to make videos  ,It's not the worst thing to want to get more people watching them and try and get some sort of money from views. Plus they do provide more info than a few lines of text can provide.  It should be a great way of showing  what the app can do as far as moving the power around.

Just think if the first customer was somebody that did not want anybody to know they had a bike. We would all still be waiting on answers to some of the questions Bryan has been able to answer. Look at the number of views this thread has VS the number of people who have posted in it. Not everybody is comfortable putting themselves out there. Bryan could just as easily just go out and ride his Varg and not post anything at all.

Outstanding video - THANK YOU!

It was fun to see how Luxon owner Billy is taking triple clamp design to the next level and to watch his operation in action.

How many Vargs have been delivered to customers since Bryans? His was shipped a few weeks ago, is it safe to assume about 4-5 bikes a day,  so maybe 40-50 bikes lucky customers have received or will very soon receive?
