Only watched it once, looked like his elbow totally hyperextended. For his sake though, hopefully it's a mid shaft break they can fix rather than blowing out all his connective tissue. Gutted for the guy regardless.

Yeah, a 450 would do it. Good thinking there.

Definitely not suggesting it's not any of those things but it confused me

yeah it's weird how holding broken things work. I thought of this one i did a long time ago, but still remember how it was fine right here, but any other position was no bueno. Probably something to do with having leverage in the correct spot to offload weight before the break(s). That replay was so heavy btw. Yuck.

He's out of touch with how the kids race. And a smooth rider.

Jeremy is one tough guy with a pain threshold off the charts. Wish him well and hope a quick recovery

Jmart is one of the most likable guys with insane talent, reminds me a ton of Trey Canard with the horrible luck and injuries. Wish he was on a 450, he would be top 5. Best of luck with the recovery.

You do have to wonder how things might have went if he stepped up to a 450 5 years ago. His ride at Daytona was impressive.

I imagine his arm will end up with a chicane in it, like mine. This is what happens when you already have a fused wrist, then break your arm just above the plate…

I thought broken bones would always cause excruciating pain, but they don't always.  Hopefully it's not broken.

He not only got run over.  The other motorcycle also hit his head.

Plate on top, plate on bottom…if I break it above that one I’ll plate the whole fucking thing and have my hand swapped out for a detachable club head. It already feels like Woody Harrelson’s character in “Kingpin”!  Hahaha

You mean chiropractors who can't even write prescriptions?  Just because you have a doctoral degree doesn't mean you practice medicine just ask Dr. Phil.

Thanks for the enlightenment. I'm pretty sure real MDs have added to this thread.

I was super bummed seeing the video after the race, I was right inside the first turn and he walked off holding his wrist like nothing happened. Adrenaline is crazy. The way he was looking at it I was thinking broken hand like I've dealt with in the past and as he was sitting on the medical cart I gave him a thumbs up in solidarity and he looked at me like "really dude?"

Super bummed for him and I hope he can heal up and get back out there, with all hes been through it would suck for this to be the end of his pro moto career.

By his own admission on a Club video, he rides with a good dose of painkiller normally.

Pre emptive.

Looked like it.  Can anyone confirm?

Dislocated and broken wrist from the post I saw may have been vital on instagram but when I watched the crash I thought for sure his arm snapped. Felt terrible for j-mart dudes gone through the ringer lately 😢

Do you remember which episode?  Pre-emptive like Ibuprofen or like painkillers?  I remember Roncada pretty much raced 2004 on Vicodin.

No, not exactly. One of the last SX round episodes.

He had to be on something to ride like he did at Vegas that year!
