I could understand them trying to go for a 250 championship. I am sure that was the plan when they signed J Mart.  I know he was nt as bad as results would say . But to loose that many points already at Round 1 what's the point. He could run up front on a 450 .even grab a podium with a bit of help.   As a big J mart fan  I think the change could do him good, cause supercoss was a disaster. The only positive was he finished it and did not get hurt.

100% agree! I think right now the 450 class is way easier to run around top 5 than the 250 class. They were hoping for an outdoor title but j-mart isn’t going to even get a sniff of that thing. Get him on the 450 and he’s easily a top 10-7 guy there.

Bet he misses his star 250 already. But sorry for jmart the title in the 250 class is already over.  Go to 450

Its clear he is not prepared - or the bar has shifted over the years from when he got his first title on the bike with more hp than the rest. Either way its sad to see

Agreed Marchbanks and Martin need to be on 450 for rest of summer, they would get alot more exposure for sponsors and build their confidence.

All I heard about JMart was tire selection and down in the 1st turn. Expected him to be top 5 so not sure what happened. Marchbanks is to big for a 250 and could easily run top 10 on the 450.

I love JMart, but tyre selection/bad start or not if he was anywhere close on speed he would have moved way further through the pack- great idea for 450s as an immediate move! Marchbanks needs to finish a 250 season and build some consistency- he will wad it up on a 450

How about Forkner even on a 450.  Maybe a class change and bigger bike would be a good refresh for the summer.

100% agree. JMart should've moved up as a full time 450 rider this year when he actually had the chance. Club gave him the chance to choose between 250 and 450.

Good grief, his championship days are over.

I do find the meme above funny. But the dudes had some serious injuries. His back xray still gives me nightmares and I think they had to redo it? All that hardware. I’m still rootin.

He got a top ten start in moto 2 and got stuck in a pileup turn 2 or turn 3. Definitely expected him to come through the pack a bit better though.

One things for sure ....he needs to stop blaming the bike. It might not be a star bike but it's dam close and close enough to be easily top 10 maybe even top 5

Going on 8 years, and many serious injuries since he went back to back with championships.  Father time is undefeated.

Its not like anyone thought lammy would be a contender from 2001 on, and he went back to back too.  These things happen.

It was his decision to go to club. Im sure he had other offers but decided to go to the privateer 250 route with club. Not a smart choice

Marchbanks should be on a 450 too given the depleted field and his size

Where is Joey Versace??

This field needs some bodies. We have Jerry Robbin almost running in the top 5.

Dudes like 30 now. Time for the big bike. We all know what he can do in the 250 class. After all of the injuries, and being older, he’s not as willing to risk it all like the other young guns. Move up move up move uppppp

He is with other old boys there, gets his ego massaged, lots of hugs, a decent bike and pay, and doesn't have to share the tent, just the track, with young rough nuts like Danger.

The bar has shifted. He was out too long, meanwhile, other riders are getting testing time and gate drops. It makes no sense. he has no real testing time or seat time on a 450. I think we're seeing the same thing with AC, out too long over time.

everybody has a window. his window was 2016-2017. been wasting time in the 250 class since then. obviously a horrible injury, but he should have been on a 450 after his second 250 outdoor title.

Remember that time he raced Daytona on the Geico 450 and was super fast? I don’t remember what place he got, but he was flying. Plus that lil guy weighs about 120 lbs so he could pull holeshots on the 450 no problem.

I agree. The 450 class is extremely thin right now and JMart could do very well on the big bike.

Should have stuck with this original plan and moved up to the 450cc with Geico Honda in 2018, the setup/deal Tomac had 2014-2015.

Instead he won 2 250SX main events in 2018, 1 250 MX national in 2018, 3 250MX nationals in 2020 and 3 again in 2021.

Guys like Osbourne and Ferrandis won 450MX titles those years.  Jeremy could have been competitive for some of those titles and certainly competitive for race wins.

Meanwhile, I’m just happy he’s healthy and able to continue his career. I enjoy watching him ride and race, no matter where he finishes.

Good idea he would get better results than AC is going to get for Kawi.

I could understand them trying to go for a 250 championship. I am sure that was the plan when they signed J Mart.  I know he was nt as bad as results would say . Results will be better in 450 because the class is decimated but I think we might have too much expectations from JMart. 2020 seems far away when he was battling with Dylan for the 250 title. He's on a lesser program now and every single 250 manufacture closed the gap to the Star bike in the couple years. A PC and a HRC holeshoted in Pala in the 250 class. In today standard, he's body and riding style don't really match the recipe to perform in the 450 class. He wouldn't have been in the top 5 in the 450 class in Pala. I think he should do whatever he wants and whatever makes him happy without us keyboard warriors/has been telling him what to do... I really like JMart as a person. He came to ride with us (when I was coaching Dylan) a few times when he was at Star. I really enjoyed getting to know him better. Great guy

Keyboard warrior!

what would you know about winning at the top level?

I looked at your insta and all you show was a quick resto of a 1990 cr250 and some pics of old bikes.

Unless you legit beat MC and RC, what would you know?

Damn Vitard!
