Now if only Bridgestone would bring back the 404.

Yes. If I remember correctly the 752 was the softer terrain tire and the 756 came out after and sort of replaced it. But it was supposed to be a soft/intermediate, as the 752 wore pretty bad on anything that wasn't soft dirt. And it seems that trend sort of has continued as the years have gone on, in that they have been able to make a softer terrain tread pattern more useable over a broader range, which is pretty cool. I hope to try a set of these MX34s here soon.

So, given the supply chain issues and general delays, does anyone have any realistic predictions for when these will be available? I need new tires within this next month, but I don’t think I trust these to show up in time if I order them on back order.

Edit: I mean through dealers as I like to buy local. Online retailers have them but it look like dealers will have to wait for distributors to get stock.

Fronts and 19" rears are in stock with Parts Unlimited so basically any dealer has access to them now.

Mine just showed up from RMC, I will leave my sand tire on for this weekend & then mount it up. Center knobs are tall, definitely soft terrain tire, hopefully it can handle some intermediate conditions.

Any ride reports?

Have just over 10 hours on a set already in varied SoCal conditions: Glen Helen (AM and afternoon sessions), Perris, Elsinore, Pala. Short answer - They’re good. Front borders on great for a do-it-all tire, while the rear is consistent and more durable than the 33 it replaces. I’m a BIG 3S guy, and will continue to run them through our “winters” with a scooparelli rear tire for 2-3 months out of the year, but the MX34 will go on for a majority of my motos.

Respect the new PSI numbers (13/13.5/14 front, 12/12.5 rear) and all is rosy. The front is much better than the 33, while I’m currently split on the rear…34 wears better and has more longevity for those who want to flip a rear after 6-8 hours for optimum life, but just doesn’t react quite the same as the 33 in choppy situations or when leaned over braking. I ran 13/13.5 in my 33 rears, and am stuck at 12.5 with the stiffer carcass/sidewall on the 34 to feed some comfort back into it. 120/90 is supposedly better than the 120/80 from others I’ve spoken to, but I still prefer a 110/90-19 a majority of the time on my KX450…Hope this helps!

This is exactly what I was looking to hear. The x31 wasn’t doing so hot early morning at Glen Helen. Thank you

Is it kind of muddy early morning at Glen Helen? I just got into some wet almost muddy dirt this week with an X31 front, and it seems to not like it. It has been good on pure intermediate/hard terrain so far so I wasn't sure if it really doesn't like thicker mud or if that was just a really slick spot. The tread pattern doesn't look like it will clear wet dirt/mud as well as the 3s/33/34.

Mostly the corners. I just rode there again today and the 31 isn’t so bad after all. I’m running a 30 front and it’s decent

I have been impressed with the durability on the MX34 rear tire.  Great tire when new and it works well at the 10 hour point.  I just put the MX34 front tire on my bike and it provides great traction.  Good stuff imo

I haven’t ridden with one yet, but I’ve fitted a handful.
I haven’t weighed any either, but the arm test says they feel noticeably lighter than anything else.

easy to fit too.
mom a Michelin guy at heart, but I’m bitterly disappointed with the starcross 6.

I did get my 1st ride on the 34's (22 YZ250F) this Saturday and was pleased with the feel. Our local track just did a re-design so there were some crazy deep sections followed by hard pack with lots of water on it. The bike never stepped out. I did not experience any sidewall roll like I have on my 33's. Great so far.

Glad to hear that. I have one on order but it may be a bit before I ride. I hit a g out the other day and something popped or cracked in my upper thigh. I have a plate and 16 screws there from over 20 years ago so I’m really hoping it’s not related and just a pulled muscle

I went from mx32 m/s to 34’s and 120/90. VERY happy. Not quite sure about wear yet, as I only have two rides, but the most noticeable improvement was flat cornering at speed.  Very consistent.  Track prep is loam exactly like redbud with deep ruts. Also, I’m a lugger, so I tend to stay a gear high and try my best to flow and carry speed and it’s been perfect for that imo.  It’s a huge improvement over over the 33 and the Pirelli for me. Never stepped out once. And was as good in deep ruts as anything I’ve ever used. I think I was around 13psi front and back.

If I can get consistent predictability as it wears, this will be my new goto. The mx32 was great but went to useless almost instantly.
