Is that what the high end auto manufacturers call forged carbon fiber? Made out of chopped up carbon bits, maybe Teamgreen will tell us all about it🤓

I always thought it was like a plastic faux marble from the intro pics

It's a gap filler part so I would assume it's some sort of expanded polycarbonate to keep it light weight for the size of the part. I wonder if it's fully rigid.

I like the overall shape of the bike and don't mind it doesn't have gawdy graphics, but I would have went with a simple 1 or 2 tone stripe to offset the base color.

Looking forward to watching more of you Varg videos Bryan congrats!

This is awesome! Assume we will see a video of you riding soon! I was so close to buying an Alta! Who makes the components? Fork, shock, brakes, wheels ect.

They both look badass, but man those Alta's were slick. They both claim 260, what were the results!?

No stock graphics? Especially at that price?

Funny you mention that, Anton brought that up when I was there and voiced his concern that riders were going to ruin the clean look of the bike with gaudy graphic kits, and it looks like we found exactly the type of guy he was referring to.  To me these bikes look great with the clean, stock look.

Congrats dude, that's a monumental achievement.

Congratulations to Bryan. I mean that sincerely.

However, just because one favoured, privileged, high profile person has had a bike delivered it

doesn't negate the valid concerns and scepticism that swirl around an untested machine touted as the best motocross bike ever.

As an advice, I also went for a no graphics style this year, but my brand new Acerbis grey plastics immediately started scratching.

So why let guys like that stay ? I have never seen a sport where people who supposedly ride spend all their time shitting on the sport. Put new members on a probation period so that when they get banned and come back under a new user name then you can weed them out quick. They are not racers or even fans of the sport so good riddance to them. Cool

Its called freedom of speech bud.

I'm going to guess more than 260, otherwise Bryan would be tripping over himself to post the weight on here.

If it's within 5 lbs of that I'll be pleasantly surprised and still consider taking delivery of mine, but if we start knocking on the door of 270 I'm out.  To put that in perspective, the KTM 450 is like 228 dry (up from 221 before the frame changes in 2023).

Why would you compare it to dry weight?

English is not my first language, so I’m wondering which word is more fitting to describe your posts: pitiful or pathetic?

I vote for no moderation. I am pro e-bike. I wish Bryan a lot of fun and ripping on the track. But i can agree with the other (elecrically challenged) side with there being too many threads and it can be looking a bit disingenuine.

Everybody should be able to read stuff from both sides and come to their own conclusions. In the end one side will have to eat crow anyway.

Definitely comparing to wet weight - my 450 is roughly 242 wet (but of course my Sherco is apparently a 257 lb pig full of gas, according to Cycle News)

Thank you. All I'm saying is, claiming "best bike ever" has some very big shoes to fill. And we already know they can't fulfill that right out of the gate.

Seriously, there needs to be moderation from the mods and admins in these Stark/E-Bike threads. The same people keep popping in and completely ruin these threads.

Come on ML and Mav, fix this.

As for the bike, fuck that looks nice. I really, really want to see and try one. Enjoy it!

Problem is those same guys are not just dickheads in Ebike threads, they are in most of them.

It is a private forum, so if users want to keep just being blatant jerks to other members, I can remove them.

In the sake of transparency, heres something im bummed about that ive already discussed with Stark and they will be providing a resolution asap.

My charger came with a L5-15 plug on it which means ill only be able to slow charge on 120V at the moment. They said this was a mistake and will be sending me a replacement 240V twistlock cable (L14-30) that allows for full 240V 16A charging.

No other customer will have this issue. I was told all US customers will be supplied with the 240V L14-30 twistlock and can use 120V adapter if needed.

Most people will be charging on 240V anyway in order to realize the full capability of the charger and get the fastest charging speeds.

The joys of being #1. I get to flush these things out for you guys.

It is a  message board after all, a place where people should be allowed to have differing opinions on a subject.   Banning people because they don't like something or making a valid point, even when unpopular, they're would be nobody left around here.  lol.

I'm just wondering why we even have a "E-bike" sub-forum for all of these topics that keep popping up in moto.

Congrats to OP on the "toaster".

Me, I'm not a fan.   No motor noise, no smells,  chain clacking being the only thing you hear other than the "drone" buzz.      Watching them race SX and MX....I'm out.

Being annoying is not against the guidelines.

There hasn't been any personal attacks either.

Let's be on our best behavior and try and keep the Stark content in a thread for ease of use. It will keep the haters away and the thread can turn into the 180+ pages like the KX450 thread. Any question I have I can go into the thread with like minded individuals and get the information I need.
