He’s trying out the long lost seat bump it looks like. I don’t think he’s ever run one.

It's bananas how relevant this question is given how good Chase and the Lawrence's are riding.

AC will win a main event. Just like every past top rider. Most of them can't just jump right back into being the tippy top - that's reserved for RC and Stew really.

He just needs to stay healthy for a full season and build those bricks and gain those 10ths of a sec. If he stays healthy, I can see him winning a main next year and being a real title contender.

Absolutely he can. Just needs some more seat time and a little luck. Reminder that he's essentially missed a year and a half of racing before this season started, minus those two races he did in 2022. Roczen missed almost the entire SX season last year and won on a Suzuki this year. Tomac and Webb can't be perfect all the time.

Nerve damage is a hard one... you can do all the training but its his body that's restricting his future. Hope he can get that win before he end of his career. Be a big moment if he gets back on top.

Personally.. Id like to see AC9 & Forkner both move on from Kawi. And im a Kawi fan! Not blaming the bike, I just think a change of scene would be good for both mentally.

Imo he will . If he can stay healthy for few year s it's going to get easier for him to bag a win or wins  . Tomac , barica , roczen, Anderson . Are all on the backside of there career s . Even if it's just Tomac that retired next year it gives AC alot more of a chance to win a race

A building year?

If AC was a builder he'd have a few unfinished buildings he'd struggle to sell.

probably the most pathetic and un funny joke ive ever seen.

Unfortunately I think no he won't. Looking back through history there are lots of riders that didn't end up winning a 450SX that probably should have based on their talent. Goes to show you how gnarly the sport is at that level.

Mickey Dymond - 2 time 125MX champ, never won a big bike SX, Tim Ferry, Robbie Reynard, Steve Lamson, Deano, Tedesco, Langston are just a few

AC beat Sexton last weekend and the Lawrences are 250 riders. Those riders have won ~10% of the 450 mains this year.

I think AC will win a 450 main. Hell, he was winning 450 motos in 2021 and has been injured since. He's back riding now and getting closer and closer.

AC has way more potential than any of those…

I've been wondering about that...

I don't know if him taking Ayahusca a good move or not, I know very little about it.

For what it's worth I've taking plenty of shrooms and Matthes is a fuckin Democrat.

That looks like a taller seat also, I wonder what is the reason to try it?

The Kawi fits taller guys really well.

It's not like he fails if he never wins a main, there are plenty of memorable riders who contributed to the history of our sport who never won a SX main event. There are plenty who raced before there even was SX for that matter. That being said, at this point it is just wishful thinking he wins a main, hoping a blind squirrel finds an acorn. It just will not happen, too many fast guys in front of him, too many fast rookies coming up. It's been fun watching him race though.

He holeshot last night and by the end was a lap down. Did he crash or just that far off the pace by the end?

Said he did an impromptu nacnac before the dragons back and that's what set him back

If he keeps going from 1st to 9th he will get a change of scenery. Evil

This year? No.

I have a feeling alot of these top guys, Tomac Roczen, Anderson, Webb are going to retire around the same time. I think then will be AC best shot. Jett and Hunter will be there then but I think he will be able to sneak in there

Tall seat + seat bump... sounds like he might be struggling with arm pump?

For the record I say yes, I think he wins at least one 450 SX main.

I don’t think he will, he wants to keep it on two wheels this season and not chance it by pushing himself for a win. I also think he still have some weakness in his hands he still dealing with.

It looks like Adam is getting passed in the whoops by Brayton for a broadcast commentary position.
