AC9?

Guess we'll know if he's in on Friday?? Or did I miss something? Man I hope he can keep pushing through this season.

With his SX track record, he’d be smart to take the rest of the SX season off and try to come back strong and healthy for the nationals.

This one has to hurt even more mentally than physically at this point. It was cool seeing him get all of these races in even though he was outside of the top five. Hopefully he's in for Indy and Kawi provides an update here soon. How did hurt his wrist? Did he even crash? I know he's worn a wrist brace forever.

Not in for Indy. Maybe Detroit per Steve Matthes.

Man all this talk during the season and RC kind of having his back when he wasn't fast and they kept harping on in booth each round that its okay and he just has to finish races and he can build from there. Man its rough be a AC supporter rn.

Crazy how you hurt your wrist and can’t fly or travel with the team.

Found it really odd that they were in his home state for Daytona and not much mention of him at all much less an interview for the broadcast. Things that make you go hmmm

Isn't he paid to race? Every year it's take off "            " and then comeback healthy for "     " and get hurt 3 races in. Just get ready for the next series. Remember how pissed Decoster would get at Pastrana? Pastrana tore every ligament in his knee, broke the top of his tib, and got his f'n knee drained everyday. Guess who was on the gate next Saturday? Oh your wrist hurts a little bit? Take the season off and spend the ridiculous amount of money we pay you to eat Chipotle and stream movies with your chick. Just like MJ and Barkley clowning on today's NBA players for taking 35 "rest" days a season. I know you guys worship AC for some weird reason. But it's a joke. When does Kawi say enough is enough?

How do you think has the bigger contract? Him or Anderson? You'd think Anderson but you never know.

It’s a character flaw with some people. They just look out for #1.

Here is Marv and family in Texas when he is not racing. Difference is Marv still loves his job.

We get it guy… every generation is weaker than the last blah blah blah…

It’s hilarious you use TP199 as your reference considering he raced 3 seasons in the premier class for MX and SX and finished 15 races combined. Meanwhile, AC has 39 races in just over 2 years.

Love AC and hope he can make it back. Like mentioned above I’m surprised teams don’t make their riders come to the races when injured to sign autographs and help other teammates with lines, observations, etc. are they not getting paid while injured? That would be the only reason. I could think of that they would be allowed to do their own thing during the season while injured.

Far from soft and unfortunately a lot older than you think I am. I hate how mine and older generations think athletes of their time were bigger, stronger and tougher than current athletes. It’s very disrespectful and complete garbage once you peel back the nostalgia tinted lens.

Yes I'm well aware of that. I'm talking about toughness and saving your career. BTW Pastrana for how short his career was still has more championships. Crazy.

I disagree with this statement. And that’s ok. I respect your opinion 👍

He already signed a deal for next year, why be out there if you’re not 100%?  Dude is obviously a better outdoor rider, so they’re probably making sure he’s good to go for the summer.

That was the question. Good that he’s got another year

Toughness is one thing that doesn't change. You either are or you're not. Pastrana would be the exact same way if he was racing today because of his upbringing. His Dad, uncles, cousins, and him were not brought to be  participation trophy kids. My sister didn't talk to me for a year, because I gave her a ton of shit for not sending her kid to school numerous times because he was feeling anxious? My brother in law didn't want to say anything to set my sister off because she's so emo and he doesn't want to rock the boat. We (myself and 3 sisters) would have to be projectile vomiting in front of our mom to miss school. I fully believe in this country that we are getting progressively softer generation by generation. Start with the 1900's and work your way today. Imagine these little vaginas today ever having to deal with a World War? I can't even imagine what was going through the troops heads at Normandy. Walking through a jungle in Vietnam waiting for you or your buddy to be sniped? Terrifying but they did it anyways. So yes the previous generations are tougher no questions asked.

Today: "Oh the election bothered you? Someone called you racial or homophobic slur? Oh come here we have cookies and a counselor for you to talk too and share your feelings sweety." GTFO. I wish I was as a quarter of the badass the previous generation was.

The guy seems like a good dude. Every year I pull for him, but it just doesn't come to fruition. Still pulling for him, but how many more seasons of the unfortunate injuries does he have left? I always pull for the kawis, and I hope he rights the ship.

Bigger and stronger? No. Pros in all sports are more athletic than ever. Watch current NBA. They're so athletic it blows my mind. Every single guy van run and jump out of the gym. Tougher. Yes the older generation was tougher. And across the board in all sports

Vital AC fanboys waiting in his autograph line. 😍

Well said...the culture has gotten soft, but the cream always rises to the top regardless of the generation.  Seems like the truly exceptional are becoming more and more rare, which is an interesting dynamic.

Man the sad part is AC9 and JS7 were my 2 favorite riders the last 10 years or so. Both missed more races then they raced. LOL

Adam seems to be a good dude, and handles himself well in interviews and in the media. He's got loads of talent, blazing speed and is a solid top-10 guy...when he's in one piece, which it seems he's not pretty much every year. He seems to be a great "Weimer" to ride in Anderson's shadow without bitching & moaning about the bike too. I guess that's the reason Kawasaki puts up with getting almost zero ROI from him after all the money they've spent on him over the years. I can't imagine they'll do it forever.

That said, I hope AC heals up and shows Kawasaki and his fans that he can be a contender.
