Hunter is pulling moves regularly that Barcia would be raked over the coals for.

I have no problem with the contact part of our sport.     Said it in the last thread about this....Hunter is quickly building up his "Barcia" skills as time passes.

Yes, Hunter Lawrence knocks out other racers who may otherwise beat him in a race. There’s a long line of previous champs, especially in the 125/Lites/250 class, who did the same thing.  He’ll collect some big hits himself.  They always do.

It was fair payback but he is a lowkey dirty rider no question. Champions dont have to ride the way he rides and hes feeling the heat bc his bro is outshining him.

After I read the first few posts in this thread I put down the popcorn and grabbed a donut.

Yes, if this was Barcia instead of Hunter and Sexton instead of Thrasher, the pitchforks would be out.
Even JS7 called it out as a takeout. Ricky didn’t because he has to be politically correct.
I’m fine with it because it’s racing, but let’s call it what it is.

When we see him begin T-boning his competitors,  then we can start to make the comparison to barcia.

I just don’t understand how anyone can argue it wasn’t a takeout. Hunter admitted to it on the podium. If you want to say that’s part of racing then fine but don’t pretend he accidentally went that steep into the corner knowing thrasher was there.

Yes hunter intentionally was going that line for a rough go mate. Hes dirty and his is coming. Hes not a championship role model for anyone.

Should be titled - thrasher threw away the start. Had control of the line drifted wide when should have stayed where he was opening the door. Mistake two was trying to cut down square the corner. Right in front of the pack. That's when he realized he f'ed up. Musta thought he had more of a gap. Maybe if the pack wasn't there might have worked.

Could have been anyone else in hunter's position. If I would have been in the same situation. Sorry you're going down I'm not about to check up and get plowed into by the pack of riders charging into the corner.

Fan boys just wanna turn it into a malicious move. If it would have been someone else not 96 they'd be crying a different tune right now.

Funny how you see what you wanta see cause everything you described was completely wrong. Thrasher was in the same line he'd been using all night while Hunter put his bike where no one was riding. Your blinded by an illness mate and there's no cure.  Find a full grown man and give him a whopper of a Kiss mate then you may be cured.

Yes mate.  I can only see what actually happened. I watched the race several times and Hunter never used that line again. Thrasher was in a line he'd used all night. Theres a top view showing the rut Thrasher was using while Hunter was in nothing but messy sand.

I'm not saying it's right or wrong but his move on thrasher was dirty. Straight for the front tire take out.

When they showed the replay with a different angle Thrasher went inside to outside and tried to cut down early. Hunter never changed his line

You are right, Hunter never waivered and went straight for Thrashers front wheel.

Well that pretty much sums it up doesn't it? His move on Mosiman was ridiculous. His move on Sushi was slimy as hell too.

Bet were going to see payback from Nate.

He didn't use the line again because he used it to make a block pass. Nothing dirty about a textbook block pass

That's your argument do you even ride. On the start that doesn't matter getting through the first turn and separating yourself from the pack is more important. Anybody who's actually taken a gate would have known this.

Things happen differently IRL then they do on play station.

Yes he is. He was trying to cut a berm in half the other weekend to try and get someone

I hope this isn’t a sign of some burgeoning, undeserved disdain for Jett and Hunter from the peanut gallery. it’s pretty exciting to see these guys and the hype around them. the sport thrives on such things. let’s celebrate it.

Go back and watch 250 Barcia when he was literally slamming everyone...don't even compare the 2...I can name Hunters clean outs on one hand...need 19 fingers for JBs 250 career

Unfortunatly Nate didn't drift wide, he crossed way wide from the middle.

Hunter held his same line, just took Nates line on the exit.

At least you're admitting that they are cleanouts.    Quantity does not matter.

Barcia is the master....Hunter is the apprentice.

...and Hunter is just getting started.

...and again.  I got no problem with contact racing.
