Will this be a first having the same track two years in a row? At least we know what to expect and how it should race. Webb or Tomac for the win.
I watched some of last year's race last night, it was actually a good track, looking forward to the repeat.

Don't outdoors have mostly the same tracks from year-to-year? The same guy doesn't win those every year.
Referring to Supercross obviously, not outdoors. Webb had with W last year and got Macelrath'd. But Webb just got paid back with Sexton getting Harlan'd. Let's hope lappers don't decide the Daytona winner this year.

I understand. But your original post implied that with the same layout, the results will be the same. But the results AREN'T the same from year-to-year in motocross. So why would they be the same at a SX event that has the same layout?
That's my prediction. I did not say because the track was the same the winners will be the same. Webb or Tomac would be my prediction no matter what track they raced. Read it again, maybe you misread it.

Yes, meaning how the track will race. You know, one lined versus plenty of passing opportunities, long start vs short start, sand section, etc.
I'm a fan of Tomac and Webb. ...but a bigger fan of Webb.
I'd love to see Webb win Daytona.
a.) One more line on his impressive resume.
b.) It'll make the title chase that much more interesting.
c.) Wanna watch heads explode around here.
...but Daytona IS Eli's house afterall.

Assuming Sexton will have crazy speed again the big question is, will he tip it over and throw away another one?
I imagine the fact that it's Daytona will add another level of mental game on Chase.
This is not a knock on Chase at all. Like everyone else thinks/knows...when Chase figures it out, he's going to go on a killing spree.
I've got Sexton for the win, only because I'm so far back in fantasy that I need a miracle. If last year is any indication we might have a good race between the top 3. Webb almost won and he sucked all SX season last year (no wins).

I did not say "Since we have the same track we can expect the same winners".
I referred to how the track "should" race, meaning one lined boat race track vs a good passing/action track. I gave my prediction in the end.
Had this been the year when someone like Brayton won and I said Brayton for the win again I could see what you are after and wanting to argue about. But I'm picking 2 of the top 3 current guys to win, not because of what happened last year.
So tell us what point were you trying to make with your thread ? because you failed bigtime. Who F***ing cares if its the same as last year and it has nothing to do with this year.

For the lost boy, I'll try to educate you one last time. The point of the post was to ask if there's ever been the same track for Supercross/Daytona two years in a row. I asked the question because I've never seen it before. Have you? With it being the same track, it should race very similar. In case you aren't aware some Supercross tracks are one lined with easy obstacles and make for boring racing, while other Supercross tracks have more 180's, bigger differentiators, and make for better racing. I.e. we should know what type of racing to expect out of this race track. Just like Early said above, this track made for good racing last year, so we can hopefully expect the same this year. It would be the same question asked if they duplicated one of the boring one-lined tracks from last year...then we could expect that same type of racing this year. It's that simple.
Then I predicted my winners. So if you don't understand this then I'm sorry I can't help, continue being lost, boy...

Since it will still be built from scratch it may still have a different vibe than last year since it seems that a lot of nuances from the build actually make a big difference in Sx.
I still don’t understand why they don’t reuse track layouts in SX.
Got a design or layout that’s proven to lead to great racing. Bring them back every once and awhile.

When I first saw the track map, my first instinct was “What the hell? Why is it the same as last year?” but after thinking about it a little more, the track provides great racing and a common request is to throw in tracks that have provided a great night of racing. My initial feeling was against it but I’m actually all for this idea being implemented from time to time.

I agree. Repeat the tracks that offered good racing. Ditch the tracks that are complete one-lined duds. Maybe this is the start of it...
chase gets it done. webb will be 30 seconds plus behind tomac.
