Craig panic button?

Is it the time to push the panic button for CC28? One of the fastest guys in the whoops last year, now jumping booth whoops section and loosing a lot of time? Is it the bike?

Best finish of the season.  He'll be on the podium by the end of the year.

Do you think that one of the top 10 best sx racers in the world should not be relevant?

Best ride of the season and his best finish....and the track was a disaster.  Many guys were jumping and it was just as fast.  Now.....he clearly was better in the whoops last year and clearly a weak point on the Austrian bikes.

It may take him awhile. It took him awhile in the 250s, but he got it (eventually).

Craig?

How about Anderson.    Where the hell is all this speed we keep hearing about.     ...and yeah, I'm talking about where it counts, the main.

New class. New adversity. New bike brand. 31 years old. He's a 6-10 guy on paper with this 2023 450 line-up. He'll get in the top 5 with favorable circumstances but I think you guys are expecting a bit too much from Christian at this point of his career and with that line-up...

Steel frame + age. Some like the flex of a steel frame and some like the rigidness of the aluminum frame. It seems like bigger guys hit the whoops better with the aluminum frames. Mookie at MCR Honda and Craig on Star were both beasts in the whoops. And then they went Husky. You can add Plessinger to that list as well. Webb and Marvin were never known for their whoop speed, but their cornering has always been their bread and butter. Flex of the frame is something that can't be fixed to act like the other.

Messing with fantasy scores should be a capital offense.

Time to breakout the pitchfork?

this may even require trading in the 3 prong for a 4 prong pitchfork.

It definitely does seem like taller bigger guys are better on alum frames and shorter more nimble guys are better on steel.

1st year on 450s? Check.

Super consistent? Check.

Beating other 450 rookies? Check.

Vital melts down and says he needs to panic? Yep.

Nail on the head there, 5-12 is where he should be and granted he’s been at the back end of that but he’ll improve.

450 class is stacked and it’s only going to get harder than until allthe guys in their 30’s retire, not that I want that to happen.
