That is a bummer!

Even though we will be defending champs, I say we send Deegan. He would be such a star, I think he would have a huge Chip on his shoulder and do what stars do, shine bright. MX1 and MX2 Title Contenders arent going to race anyways, unless their championship is wrapped up. FIM may lose a bit of MXGP Star power for the MXON, and I will take any advantage the Americans can get.

Ok, we know its gonna be RJ if he's healthy, but that would be sick....

Why the hell would a rookie have a huge chip on his shoulder?

Right?!

Man I have a feeling that dude is a brand new fan and is part of the incoming Deegan Mafia that only has a small one-sided exposure to the sport.

Not hating on Deegan, I'm not a fan but I'm also not a guy who thinks he doesn't deserve the support he's getting.

I think alot of people watch him because they want to see the hero fall. He has proved time and time again that his work ethic and natural ability are why he's so amazing, not because "He's Brian Deegan's Kid."

I was just hypothetically throwing out how sick it would be for him to show up and going full send mode after a good start. I like that question though, you're completely right, he shouldn't have one. This is just me imagining the perfect storm to him shutting up grown men hating on a Teenager.

I have met her - extremely nice gal for multiple reasons. In regards to the cost, as noted above her family is in the 9 figure range. With everything being equal $100,000 actually seems low.

Congrats for the couple!!!

What kind of wedding you get for 100k? I am genuinely interested.

I would have bought better keg beer.

Stephenson has always been a giant tool

also 100k sounds a tad high for a wedding but it’s their money so congrats Mr and Mrs Cooper regardless!

So what?

After the wife has shown she is worthy, faithful, can make home and had delivered you a son it is time to celebrate.

Giving the woman a ring and a triumphal victory celebration before the main event is a mistake, and part of the reason why so many women defect from good marriages. Seventy percent of divorces are female iniated.

Big mistake JC.

It’s not really crazy for the defending g champion to pull out before even being considered. It can avoid drama if he’s having a great outdoor season.

New age? They never could. Young Ugly dudes score hot chicks because they are rich and fast. Retirement is often quickly followed by divorce.

Props to J Coop for originally scheduling his wedding around the MXdN.

For those talking about the price do you think a family that has generational wealth is going to go down to the VFW and have their cousin DJ the wedding for them? It's his life and so none of my business what he does for his wedding. He can spend $10 million, and it will not take a penny out of my pocket or affect me in any way.

I spent about $1k on my wedding. It took place in the old airplane hanger that Bubba stored his Odyssey in in Crusty 2.  Glad his wife’s family can afford to flush that kind of money down the toilet.  I don’t get it myself.

Wedding expenses always pale into insignificance compared to the potential cost of a divorce.

In her world the terms of the divorce will have already been contractually agreed upon before the marriage certificate is signed

Vital would have gone crazy with conspiracy theory's as to why he was not selected for 2023, if he didn't come public.
