Excellent natural terrain, on the side of a hill so plenty of elevation changes. Viewing is really good from what I’ve seen. It holds a GP there most years so parking for the teams & spectators must be up to MXGP standard.

Teutschenthal is by far the worst "natural" track in Europe to host a GP or a MXoN. Especially since they've altered the start straight for the MXoN in 2013. Every year it seems to get worse and worse. Nigh impossible to make a pass.

How about Loket?  I enjoy watching those races.  I suspect it's not a great spectator location with limited track visibility?  Is the town too small to support a big event?

Teutschenthal harder to pass on than St Jean? I disagree

I wonder how many dry mxon's we will get since its date is being pushed back later in the season each year.

In the 75 year history of MXdN, it’s been in the US a whopping 5 times. Don’t try to act like that even compares to how often it’s been in France. Not saying it should be in the US as often, but to act like it’s in the US anywhere near how much it’s been in France (a country 1/18 the size with 1/5 the population) is laughable.

You might be on to something. Maybe have the guys run MotoGP bikes with knobbies at one of the Europeon tracks, since they really don't have any big jumps. It might be pretty bad ass 🤔. Don't listen to the naysayers. I'm 100% on board with your idea. 👊

Leirop would be a nice experience for team USA.

Wouldn’t want to discuss the track to much, or you might not turn up like last time.. Wink

I would love them to go to a few different places, but since it became the MX"o"N, I don't think Americans can really complain about the frequency that it visits your nation...

Bring it to the hallowed ground of Namur just one more time, the best riders would be properly sorted from the rest in short order!

I don’t think anything has been announced yet for 24. This year will be in France. I remember hearing an interview that they want to hold it in the US every 3-4 years.

There is normally a long-term plan for the MXoN, but nothing's been confirmed for 2024 and there have been no rumors.

The problem is that there are not many countries/venues that can host it, so I genuinely believe that they are a bit stuck.

I have heard that Teutschenthal discussed hosting it again, but no idea when that would be.

We are just waiting for the race to return there.

Wife and I want to go to Germany for our 25th (2024) so this would be perfect.

Its time Millville gets the MXON race. We have some of the best mixes of dirt and elevation changes. Just sayin.

Millville would be incredible if it came back to the US.  I went there for the first time in 2020 for the National and that track is every bit the equal of Glen Helen for its sheer awesomeness IMO.  The hills are huge, great dirt, great viewing.  Mid to late October can be pretty dang cold though in Minnesota, there was frost the morning of the National in middle/late September.  Not sure they have enough parking/infrastructure?

What's the deal with Canada?

Seems they have a good motocross series, good history of mx/sx, and the country itself is SURE to have some badass tracks due to its size and varied terrain.

I get maybe it doesn't fit InFront's agenda, and that's obviously all it takes for it not to happen, but it'd be cool.

I would definitely go back to the USA if that happens. Red Bud was awesome too

Realistically, there's only a few tracks that could host the event or make the necessary improvements to do so.

Then there's the astronomical fee to host it. After that, there's the risk of not having enough fans show up to just break even. I don't even think our national series averages 10k fans. Would the track see an increase in Canadian fans showing up? Most likely. Add in the close proximity to the US border for the American fans, I think there would be a decent turnout. Now, would that be worth risking going bankrupt over it? I would say probably not.

To your last point, it would be cool.

Could always bring a US National up north for a test run. Laughing

Any idea on when there will be a return to Austria?

Not sure being KTM home territory would have much to do with it, but that could be another angle to the publicity / decision making side of things? They still firmly in bed with Luongo and that lot?

I know nothing of the politics of the MXoN...  But there's a few common race countries that seem to not make the rotation.  Spain?  Sweden? Germany? Switzerland? Czech Republic?

Belgium hasn't been for a while, but Italy, France, the USA and GB seem to get it more often than others.  The Netherlands got one a few years back too.

I'd suggest Spain...

There are no tracks in western Canada that would be capable of hosting this race . Calgary would be a great location , being right in the city but they simply don’t have enough space/infrastructure . Maybe a track back east ?

Australia could hold it at Erzberg!

The only complaining was during the 8 years between Thunder Valley and Red Bud. Also keep in mind the size of the US. We’re much larger than Western Europe where most of the MXON races occur.

Just for more information, Infront said that they were only going to countries that "work" after Latvia in 2014.

Latvia was good, just not many fans and not the same vibe.

Ever since then it's been said that it would be a rotation of the UK, France, Italy, USA, Germany and Belgium.

That list of European countries indicates that by 'work' Infront means 'suits' the European factories and Infront.  The US is there because of its size and presumably to placate the American factories.

Australia has the infrastructure, tracks, and fans to host an excellent MXON.  I think overseas fans would travel here also.
