Looked like he had a pretty wild tank slapper down the start straight.

Glad he is out there and hope he continues to build and get in the mix at some point.

Was it AC who had that massive head shake? I thought he was absolutely going to lose it. Glad he didn’t.

He did as he said he would which is great. At this point a solid season where he finishes every race and starts challenging for podiums sooner or later is really the beet outcome.

EXACTLY!!!!!!! With a 450 field like this, finishing top 10 in the points is a huge move forward for AC!!!! Great guy who needs to just get progress each week. One little victory last night.

Lots of front end washouts for him and Anderson yesterday. Plus a crash in the whoops for AC, and the endo from Anderson. Kawi just has to be happy to head to Oakland with both riders still racing.

Just do the laps for a few races, man. Glad he made it through the weekend on a nasty track.

Awful start design for sure. Super dangerous for everyone.

Unfortunately, I just don’t see AC ever competing for a championship. Way too many injuries and I don’t think he’s ever even gotten back to back podium finishes in SX. Super promising career that has been derailed. All too common.

The only AC news that was going to be noteworthy was ' out for season'.

He was solid and sensible, who would you have expected him to beat that he didnt?

He beat Barcia, Musquin, Craig and Savatgy.. Savagty had a great heat , Marv had a good qualy and heat , Barcia led the main and Craig is a 'reigning champion'.

Yes they had issues, but i dont know that AC didnt either.

He needs a season. Not woulda coulda shoulda.

Against the expectation  8/10  i think top 10 was great .

I just want him to finish the season and get some decent results with a couple flashes of speed.  Then maybe turn it up for outdoors.  He's a great ambassador for the sport and I hope he can just stay healthy for a change.

A top 10 for the guy is fantastic. Good for him. Top 10's can become top 5's and in time he can latch on to that elite group. If he makes all 17 mains he can finish in the top 5 as a final result.

It seemed that the same happened to Forkner during his crash.  It makes me wonder if there was somehow a hard edge hiding below the start straight.

Cianciarulo's head shake was gnarly.

A lot of riders looked out of sorts last night. In practice, in qualifying and in the main. It wasn't just AC. Tough track for sure, but I think a lot of guys need to work out the cobwebs. I saw a lot of squirrely riding across the board.

Savatgy also had a moment in the 450 start if iI remember correctly.

Considering how much racing he’s missed over the last few years, I’m thinking a top 10 in his first race back is a great race!

He had some flashes of speed still – I just want to see him race all 17 races, finish top 10 in points, ideally closer to 5 and stay healthy to build a base.

I'm sorry, but AC and Forkner need to quit. AC doesn't have the speed and is just as accident prone as the kid who can't even make it down the start straight.

Tomac was on the ground, Anderson was on the ground, Mookie was on the ground, AC I'm sure is trying to do the opposite for now.  He'll pick it up.

Ac and Wilson will have better rides going forward after Oakland. A track like that that can reach up and grab you and pop a knee is always going to be tracks they do poor at. There not gonna throw those legs out as often. On a normal sx track well see a bit more.
