Biggest Amateur Series/Races

Not counting LL and Mini O’s what are the best series/individual races nation wide to line up on full gates. Putting together next years race schedule and ready to venture out and line up with some talent to keep improving. 30+B guy. I know Cal has Vet World Nationals and RedBud hosts Vet Fest. Where can I line up and get my ass kicked and learn some things this coming year? It’s amazing what you learn when you make mistakes verse having a solid Moto and top 5’ing. Lincoln Trail hosts a killer series all year out of Casey IL which I plan on running a few. Where else? Based out of St Louis. Will drive as far as western Oklahoma, Northern Michigan, Panhandle of FL, basically 8 hours in any direction. ETC.

Millville has a 12 rnd super series plus the Viking class. Race 2 days on the national weekend after you hv the track wired from earlier races. 25b is avail want to cherry pick 25c, 30c . Race 8 rnds avail for stuff like a 450 from Bark River. Wi. Has some big gates in the 125 class.

i know it's far west. but if you've never raced mammoth, and you love moto, you race mammoth.

Pro challenge at swan always has big turnouts, freestone js7 national as well.

Mammoth Mountain is the best-run and most scenic MX race you will ever attend. Go there at least once. You will have to qualify for the main in +30B, since there are so many entries. (Heat race/LCQ/ Moto 1 on Saturday, Heat race/LCQ/ Moto 2 on Sunday.)

EDIT: It's out of your driving range, but definitely worth it.

I was based in Columbia MO and rode with some St Louis guys the whole Racer X Senior Championship series that Vet fest is part of. They have 5 races and some of the races had 25-30 on the gates in the +40B class. The most fun race series I've ever taken part of. Practice Friday and race Saturday.

Race the Baja Brawl next year. Plenty of fast 30+ guys there. If you do the D14 series you will have plenty of opportunity to race some fast guys. Indiana and Michigan have a very competitive group of vet racers.

If you want a series, the Texas Winter Series is no joke. Loaded with fast guys and several that come from up north. Series is run on some of the best tracks in Texas too. We see a lot of people show up that are prepping for Loretta's qualifiers.

Strictly from a rider count standpoint, my vote goes to the Fly Racing Showdown Series at Lincoln Trail. The 12 race series averages well over 700 entries per race with over 1000 entries at some rounds. I’m sure GNCC and other trail rider series probably dwarf these numbers, but when it comes to motocross I can’t think of a bigger racing series.

He said he wanted full gates. Their Super Series doesn’t exactly offer full gates, unless you consider double drops with 3-4 classes in those drops a full gate.

Nothing about full gates he wants his azz kicked . I figured you could help him with that. Hey I stopped for food at Maustin Kwik trip after my 2 pu ld in Angryapolis. The 125 class can get 24-28 riders. Finally finished my birthday curse ld , block the st off while the boys r busy smoken weed inside. Duke university is close.
