shows even K-Roc is an electric noob.... dude says "opens up a whole different door"..... WAT? LOL.... I've done electric since the 90s and I've yet to see where electric crushes gas on the track at the elite level... F1 crushes Formula-E...... as does a top fuel dragster against anything electric.... fuel still rules for pure speed.... and on dirt, where we can't put down nearly as much power, and people de-tune 450s, i can't see electric ever being faster than gas in mx/sx.... electric means supporting coal for the juice & China for ALL the electronics (motor, batts, and speed controllers).... and really nothing more....

Some of my most memorable rides have been Downhill Mountain biking and there is also no sound involved there, just pure fun.

Sure sound is nice, but without it a lot of other doors will open. Maybe not in Bum-fucknowhere, but in crowded places where tracks are closing down due to noise complaints tracks WILL open, or remain open. Coming from the Netherlands where tracks are closing left right and center because of it are prove of that. Not to mention Belgium which once was the greatest MX country in Europe only has a handful of tracks left.
Totally agree about DH mtn biking. Without an engine you can hear the tires growling, rocks, skidding into the corners, the suspension working, and that silence when you're in the air.

I have a Alta Redshift MXR and a 2021 Kx450.

On most tracks around here in socal, i spin faster lap times on the Alta MXR. Electric is fantastic for sx and mx. F1 is a whole different type of racing and it cant be compared imo.

I like that Kenny is being himself , if that is what he is doing. After hearing RV on Pulp after he retired , I wish that he was able to be like that while he was racing. So many people complain about the robot podium speeches , and then complain that Kenny is too much. I think that if a lot of the Ebike haters would try riding one , they might have a different opinion. The ability to control the power so precisely , and not having to shift are 2 big things that can make an Ebike faster than gas on dirt. Just that split second it takes to shift gives an advantage to the electric bike. It is so cool to be able to see a guy that is still at the top of the sport out in public riding all these different brands of bikes. Who knows if the sport will ever be 100% electric. 2 Strikes are still around . I could see Electric being like how 4 strokes are now. Being the highest performing and choice of most serious racers. It would be amazing to hear what Kenny thinks of the Varg , VS a Stock CRF VS his factory CRF. If he could ride the same track on his current race bike and then the Varg and tell us what he thinks. He has not been shy about saying when he didn't like his setup. Even if he said the Varg was way off from his race bike, that would not be a horrible thing for Stark, considering how much time he has spent on the CRF. If he could talk about how the style of power impacted how the bike did certain things , that would be interesting to hear his thoughts.Considering he has ridden some really amazing bikes over the years. I bet that of all the top guys , Kenny would be one of the guys that would like the powerstyle of an Ebike over a gas version. And if Kenny stopped posting ,what would there be to talk about on here until the first race?

You guys just cant wait to throw money at an already expensive sport. I'll go electric when they prove the bikes can withstand crashes and last as long as a tank of gas. And bikes can be purchased by the masses. Bucha rich ass posers upin here!
