I'm still not understanding that even if the engine was a full blown pro engine the same as Justin Cooper gets what makes that illegal in a mod class?

Think about it rationally. I really doubt that Yamaha Corporation would threaten the claiming rider's dealership. It's Star's technology and mistake for them, not Yamaha. If that occurred, Yamaha Corporation should be punished severely, out of all AMA racing for 6 months, 10 million fine, like Formula 1. IF, that occurred, that's BULLSHIT.
