Isn't this Stark media test going on this weekend ?

C'mon ML .. you too busy burning up Barcelona to toss some peanuts to the monkeys ?

PLEASE do a range test. If stark wont allow one, shame on them.

Apparently you missed the update on the lack of updates:

media is silenced on the subject until June 10.

I must have missed where that date was the target date for the news.

A more or less standard press embargo, to not give a headstart to any outlet due to scheduling. They had tests over a long period and split up the media in smaller groups across several days. The embargo lets everyone digest their test and get their stories out with fair competition. Clicks ain't free.

I believe everybody had an exception allowing them to share 1 social media post before the embargo. Guessing a lot of the media are waiting until a bit closer to the 10th to keep the story fresh.

So with every media outlet releasing their test on the 10th, which media test are you reading first?

Probably JTs.
My two main sources didn’t sent a test rider: Keefer didn‘t go and Vital sent Klinger.
Who else does good bike test? Who went from MXA?

MXA still say it needs an extra tooth on the rear sprocket.

Ha! Although with the bikes I had, they were always right with their gearing advice..
I‘m looking forward to how different the opinions of the different media outlets are going to be. It’s something new and they’re all going to release their test at the same time. So they won’t be influenced by each other.

My prediction based on a few engineering degrees, 30 years of hi-tech manufacturing knowledge, and lots of experience building electric moto bikes; 80% of the buyers will be disappointed (if they even receive a bike) and Stark will fold up shop before delivering even 10% of the promised bikes and laugh all the way to the bank. Buyer beware.

Blake Wharton was there. His reports will be available through Cycle World and Dirt Rider.

Well, they "relocated" your German rocket scientists right after the war Smile

Does it still have the tiny 6 kWh battery? Remember, that would be roughly the same as 2.5 liter of gasoline if you already consider the better efficiency of the e-drive system. And how far do you get with that? One liter of gasoline has 8.9 kWh!

Still 6kWh

So using 8.9kWh that makes it equal to 0.674L of gasoline. If we say the Varg has 2.5L equivalent with average efficiency of 0.8, then ICE efficiency average is 0.216 -- I think that is overly optimistic for ICE dirt bike.

So apparently you are of the opinion that moneys received in the form of 100 dollar deposits combined with payments in full for just 10% of orders not only fully cover the start up manufacturing & operating overhead costs but also result in a substantial net profit for ownership entitys ?

Your are fortunate to have earned multiple engineering degrees.

How does only delivering 10% of bikes make them profit off of $100 deposits?

If MXstore release their report on the 10th, that will be the 9th for most of the world, technically.

I'd guess they might have got technical, and made it say, something alone the lines of GMT release?

Otherwise, those bloody horrible Kiwis would get the scoop on everyone. Whistling
