That was all on Anderson, Anderson turned down too early, Drove right into BamBam. BamBam is lucky he stayed up.
"turned down early" - I seem to remember another incident with Anderson where everyone blamed Mookie for turning down early. Not sure if you meant that irony but that's what I get out of it.

I have a different take than the f*** Barcia opinion. His move was SO blatant that it wasnt dirty. He cut the whole inside of the turn while Ando was still in the Apex. Ando never looked up and kept his eyes on his front fender and kept er pinned. I dont know why thats different to me but it is. Its like he parked 20ft in front of him and didnt expect ando to just keep on going right into him.

Also, Dirty or not, im sick of the AMA docking riders for every little or big block pass. It sets in motion a larger pussification of the sport. Soon a little bump will warrant docking positions

Anderson must lot have taken that class.
Neither Stewart brother took that class either.
Here’s a class on how to pass and be passed and remain in the fight:

Exactly. also watch Jason's head. He literally never looks up. I always thought these guys were taught/trained to look ahead? I really dont think Barcia expected to take him down.

There were a few passes in that corner throughout the night where the outside rider had to break late and swerve and the inside rider was even closer. Barcia cut to the very bottom and IMO Jason had plenty of time to adjust had he been looking further ahead than his fender.

I don't know... Don't like Barcia, but I'll allow it.

Anderson looked like he was staring straight down his front fender. Seemed somewhat avoidable. It's also Barcia... Anderson gave him 30 feet of track to his inside to work with.

Funniest thing Barica ever said was "Barely!" to Tomac 2 years ago. I still laugh when I think of that exchange of words.

We watched different races. The main I watched Barcia was going across the track instead of turning and T boned Anderson. Show me a freeze frame before the contact where Barcia's bars are turned to the right and down track. Doesn't matter where Anderson is looking when Bam Bam's radar has locked on.

Thats not illegal. Literally most block passes look like that. At some point you have to be cutting across someones line and your bars are facing one way while the other guys is not. Its pretty much the physics of a block pass. Anderson never looked past his fender and just sends it into Barcia. Had anderson been looking ahead he really had plenty of time to react.

If your motorcycle isn't pointed in the direction the track is going then it's a cheap shot IMO. Only time this isn't a cheap shot is the last turn in the LCQ and shouldn't be going down in the Main at the front of the 450 SX class.
You realize that your viewpoint means that there would only be one way through any corner and that every rider would have to have the exact same apex, right?

Good point and thanks for bringing that up. It is key where the motorcycles are in the corner and contact is made. In tonight's case if not for Anderson's motorcycle, Bam Bam's trajectory had him not making the corner but going off the track.

So would you say that when Jett was messing with Mcadoo that he was riding dirty? If we use your turn logic, Jett was facing the tuff blocks when he should have been making the turn but the intent was to run Mcadoo high. Mcadoo anticipated it and saw it because he was looking ahead and turned down.

I honestly think this pass isnt blowing up vital if Anderson had been better on technique. Like i said earlier it was happening all night in that corner and no one went down but Jason

Barcia had another 30’ of track he could have used up, nowhere near going off the track. That was the start straight they were turning on to. Also, Anderson t-boned Barcia, go watch the replay.

Who had a close one in the 250lcq? Nicolette I think? Had his head up and swerved around in the exact same scenario.

The cause of Anderson going down tonight was Anderson. Pretty simple.

Not saying Barcia's move was all that great but he didn't take Jason down.

As Eli said though, "Have you ever passed anyone clean???" Truth.

As if Anderson wouldn't have done the exact same thing to him
This. Anderson did this to Roczen already this year. I'd prefer not to see that type of riding, but at least it happened between two deserving riders.

Haha im not so sure there will be that much love going around on this one. The later this title fight gets the more the pressure starts building and the less patience these guys are going to have. Will be interesting to see what the AMA says or doesnt say about all of it. To be a fly on the wall rn

His nickname is BamBam. He’s an old pro with a big fan base. Me included.
That classic Bam move of his came pretty close to getting him a 450 main event win. Andersen won’t have a problem with it.
Eli is just too strong down the finish.

You think that was an attempt at making a block pass? Lol, let's at least call it what it is; straight stupid and barcia throwing a little tantrum he got passed for the lead.

If we are calling anything how it is, im going to call you an Anderson fanboy with puss goggles on. I can tell this pass really affected you because whatever your opinion is of the pass...it was the very definition of a block pass. Barcia was in front of Anderson....blocking him and passing him. BLOCK PASS. Then in a barcia like fit of rage..go on to really bring no logical insight to the convo. Just wanna rage on Justin lol

If Bam Bam didn’t do it he would not have got a podium.
So is he the better rider and deserved it?

He waved and acknowledged he didn’t mean it, but as RC said, he knew exactly what he was doing.

The only problem I had with it was it was early in the race and it definitely fucked the rest of Anderson's race.. I think that kinda pass is a last resort kinda thing
True Anderson could've been more aware to avoid it as well but was maybe not expecting it so early in the race, which maybe makes it a good pass as it wouldn't have worked if he was expecting it

Do you watch every race with your husband or just by yourself?

Anderson can dish it and take it. Barcia can dish it but is far far from ever taking it, prime example with Eli a few years ago.
