I was racing the amateur day before a national in 2020. As each rider in my class was being introduced over the loud speaker, I hear my name, followed by "Dang! I believe that's the oldest dude racing today!".

I thought it was funny, but, I'd rather be known as "Dang! How'd that guy holeshot on a 125?".

Later, in one of my races, a spectator points at me and says to my friend who happened to be standing next to him "That guy right there is having the most fun out of anyone here today!", and he was right!

I'm racing the same race this year. This time I'm going to be in shape, holeshot, and then checkout!

My 6-year-old 350 has 130 hours, looks literally like new and is maintained to a factory rider’s standards

When you buy new gear you start at the back of the rack to find your size

I never owned a Penton, but I raced a shop bike that had metal fenders and a green gas tank that was held on by a leather strap.

Man I just had my second pulmonary embolism in a year. The first was believed to be from riding a wheelchair for 10 weeks after dual MCL injury's. Second one was a month ago and massive, lungs are fucked and I'm not even allowed to shovel the sidewalks. PE's are no joke.

Crazy results pages!

Funny story, I saw the name Nathan davenport. Ol boy from Wiggins Mississippi. This is where our good friends, the Gill's moved to when they left Ohio back in the day.. I spent some time in winters riding down there and staying at the Gills. Nathan invited me out one night with some of his non moto buddies. The type of swamp donkeys you can't hardly understand. Lol.. We were goin "shinin". Now, im a deer hunter here in Ohio, and Nathan knew that, so I figured we were going to see if we could SEE any deer.. Stuff got real western once those spotlights came on. Disclaimer, I did not fire a single round. Lol. I did get bounced off the inside of the roof in a beater ford explorer like an ol Coleman cooler a few times tho as they peeled outa there after shots were fired.

Can't say I was on board, but I was along for the ride. They did utilize their kills and they did not do it for sport, these ol boys needed/wanted food they could wash down with their 40s of cheap beer.

Different times.
Rode with Davenport at Rockhill in Purvis, Mississippi EARLY 2000’s. And the Gills brothers at Stone County. I think the Gills work at Hattiesburg Cycle where I bought my first KTM. Some fast guys.

$5K worth of suspension on a 22 year old bike. Also, step stool required to mount said bike (lower left hand corner of photo).

Whoever came up with that tagline should have been made to ride the RM400 till it killed them.

Heal Up Spud!
I don't know if it helps for this or not (ask your doctor or research it), but I believe fish oil Omega-3 supplements are really important for helping keep our arteries clear. I take 4 per day with meals and have since the mid-80's. It's the very most important supplement in my opinion.

Thanks! This was an eye opener to really improve my diet and after hearing about the benefits of fish oil Omega-3 supplements for many years reckon it's time to incorporate them.

I also owned one of the first aluminum frame Cr250’s. Note the Factory Honda Tortelli seat cover. I dug that out of the dumpster at the Houston Supercross.
