It's okay you have a little man complex and need to lash out. But BRO, the bike has so much more negative than positive compared to what we currently have. If its not actually better in at least 75% of the checklist, its irrellevant.

At 6' 3"-- 215, I doubt that is my problem, lmao---- My issue with your comments , is that you obviously didn't even bother to watch the video (which is full of information) before you threw up your diatribe. The bike has an infinite amount of tunability ---including how much "engine braking" you can dial up, among many other attributes.

At least familiarize yourself with something before you bash it---particularly stating "problems" that aren't even there.. Makes you look a bit ridiculous

Pretty good at name calling from behind your keyboard there ,Ace.

To have an opinion is 100% fine--- but to base it on absolutely zero knowledge of the subject matter is laughable at best and also a bit sad.... ! And you didn't even to need to take the time and actually READ and comprehend anything about it , as they posted a 15 min video for mindless fucks (like us) to just watch. You couldn't even do that before you opened you mouth to spew your nonsense !!

If everyone was on an e-bike, you could hear riders talking shit to each other; like hockey!

I want one just so I could build a track at my house and ride without pissing off the neighbors. I'd still keep my other bikes though.

Oh i'm sorry. They lost me when the video was plastered with photo montage of nothing and overhype, then follow by Gordon Bombay posing in a turtleneck behind the bike like he just invented motorcycles for the first time in history. E-Bikes aren't worth my time. BTW how about you check my "quote" bud. Stop being such a triggery rut puddle. lol

THANK YOU.

I said it before. The only way anyone is going to ride this even for fun, is to have a transmission with a clutch. Otherwise no one will like how the power delivers. No one regulates their throttle control and knowing the right gear to be in just by twisting a linear powerband with your wrist. Its currently unnatural. Put a clutch and trans on one so people don't have to learn walmart style throttle control. There is zero finesse that way.
I can’t understand the words that are coming out of your mouth …

The AZ part is not really the key point. The majority of riders don't live in SoCal with a track 5 miles from their house. Most MX tracks are in BFE without an electrical infrastructure to charge a bunch of bikes. Most MX tracks are lucky if they can keep their power up enough to run a PA system. The super dooper awesome CA tracks are an anomaly in the grand scheme of MX tracks world wide.
Still don't get your point. Sounds like you're just bitching about what other people are doing.

I live in Temecula which has access to many tracks within a 2 hour radius and I bring a generator to the track with my Alta. Last i checked, you can operate a generator at the most popular track just like you can at one located in Bum F Egypt.

Some people on this forum really need to relax.

The bike looks promising, nobody is saying you HAVE to buy one.
It will likely be an awesome option for some, some people won’t like it, so don’t buy it.

The more options for people to enjoy the sport the better in my opinion.

Calling dudes "snowflakes, cupcakes, triggered" etc. is so cringy. If you want to win an argument, do it with your argument, because using those tired-ass terms won't do it.

VitalMX, a place where a new bike gets released and a bunch of keyboard warriors start arguing like they are going to have a barfight.
zero chance anyone would interact like that in the real world.

That's funny. Actually no, neither my parents, my siblings, my teachers, nor my friends, thought I had a snowball's chance in hell in accomplishing the things in life I now have. And if I'm honest, I have to admit they were right NOT to believe in the direction I chose. Love has a way of making people overvalue practicality, and my entire life has been a series of a reckless leaps and longshooter's longshots. Electric bikes, however, are not as I once was. They are a CHIP shot. They are a lay-up. They are a virtual inevitability. The only question is, how much time will pass before this conversation is the exclusive domain of bitter old men? I say that as a 60 year old man myself, a very old man by this sport's standards, but a man who has ZERO fear of change because of how I've lived my life. Bitter, I most certainly am not, as I have no reason to be. I am the luckiest man I've ever met.

FYI: I already own a KTM Freeride and I just bought the upgraded battery for it, so I'll now have two batteries that can be changed out in a couple minutes. Further, I just sent the suspension out to make it closer to moto-capability. I also own my own private track. Thus, I have some real-world experience regarding the breadth of these matters. I will be buying this glorious new bike and then I'll be letting my good friends ride the Freeride should they desire to. Sounds kinda fun, does it not? I suppose your answer depends on how much you cling to the past.

Silas444 is out here landing haymakers. Good stuff man.

We all miss the smell of premix, we all miss the sound of a 2 stroke, and yes we will all miss the sound of a 4 stroke. There are aspects of this progression that we have to accept will never feel like a step in the right direction, but it is progress nonetheless.

More bikes....better. More tracks....better. More races...better. More exposure...better. Bigger community...better.

I've spent thousands and thousands of $$ over the years buying gas to put into my bikes just to burn it out the back. Now I can just buy a couple of spare batteries and moto all day. Charge them up at home and go again the next day.

Here’s the “quote” that I remember from you that demonstrates the amount of delusional thinking that you exude

*****Well I was going for my pro license and ran out of money because this sport is a money pit. And then the 12 month criteria expires and you have to start again. So yeah if I had more money I would have went pro.*****

Remember that one from a few months ago.??? From that point forward I couldn’t take ANY of your opinions seriously.

LMAO Woohoo Woohoo Tongue Tongue

Last word from me on this Stark Ebike or any of the others we are sure to see in the coming months/years. I applaud any manufacturer that spends the time, money and effort to create a new platform. I 100% hope it is as described.and is successful. And this is coming from a guy that hates 4strokes and feel that real moto was ridden on smelly old 2strokes since 1972

Looks to be very promising indeed. I'm onboard with the electric bike movement for a number of reasons. Mainly, more tracks and riding areas.

It's my opinion. Doesn't mean I'm wrong. I watched 2 16min videos of introduction to the bike. They showed paper stats, not real life proof. Then he says at the end of the video "here's the proof it's faster than a 450" in the last 30 seconds of video..they cut the video off. Yeah I'm not sold on this BS. Not by a long shot

Nice personal attack on my life experience and bank account with motocross. Real cute. And it's true. I live in MN, we can only ride from April until end of September if lucky. That's 6 months we're behind every year from southern states. So I had to fit in 12 months of points in 4 months realistically. So yes, please shame me for trying you @sshole.

I'll go the otherway on the battery discussion. At my incredibly slow Vet speed I'd rather have a lower range but lighter battery that is swappable. Have to have something to complain about or I won't be happy. Put one in for every practice/moto and charge the other (with my yet to be developed high voltage battery and converter). Just bring a Tesla powerwall in the back of my truck instead of generator until I get my all e-truck.

Rosso391 is doing a great job trolling and derailing this thread off of the subject of the bike. Just stop responding to him.

Many of us were bummed to see Alta not make it, and you gotta commend this new company to pull off what they did for some exciting progression of the sport and push past where Alta ceased. If you don't want the sport to progress, that's pretty sad really...

Have they said where it will be manufactured?
Let's hope the company has the right funding to scale production and get everything sorted out. I think Alta proves that a good product alone is not necessarily enough.

Even putting the whole electric thing aside... it's cool as fuck seeing another manufacturer come in and bring some legit innovation on the smaller details. It's been a very long time since I've bought a brand new bike but this may change that.

"I'm just here to stir $hit up" is my saying. Seems I got more than a few people riled up on here. Jeez. I'm for progression, BUT electric isn't the way to go. IN MY OPINION. And I only say that because the "zero emission" nonsense doesn't sell in reality. Your house is getting power from 60-70% coal or fossil fuel power plants. And if you are charging your bike at the track on your generator it's still using fuel. This bike DOES look better than Alta on paper. I just want to see the real head to head proof. Not a slow motion and chopped video showing nothing useful.
