Supercross is a show. We think of it as a sport but Feld knows it is just a show, just like Monster Jam. This is one of the consequences of “growing the sport” and trying to take it mainstream. You loose control of it and the big money calls the shots. I am happy that we can watch it live on TV instead of waiting a week to read about it in Cycle News or call 1-900-moto- info or whatever it was, but this is part of making it big. I’m not sure it’s worth it but it’s too late...

It never seemed to be an issue in prior years, so I doubt there’s an infrastructure issue. I wasn’t on the track and racing obviously so I wasn’t there as long as someone like Justin, but my girlfriend and I were there all afternoon in the stands and haven’t noticed any sort of side effects or felt any type of way when we were there. I was sitting in the 200 and 300 sections from around 1130-7pm yesterday and I felt super stuffed up this morning and still have bloodshot eyes. I figured it was from smoking weed, but that has me thinking.

I’m 99% sure I got it. I went into the stadium about 6:45am, did not leave the stadium once until about 8pm. In between practice and night show, I got super tired, eyes were blood shot, throat was killing me, voice was gone and I couldn’t breathe at all. After the heat race I almost called it a night from how bad I felt. Sitting on the gate I felt like my vision was even blurry. It was really bad, I hardly slept last night from not being able to breathe and my eyes hurting so bad.

This thread....fits right in with the "everyone gets a trophy" generation.
