Interesting, how does standard time suit your lifestyle better?

I don't care which time, but let's stop changing it 2x per year.

I say keep DST all year since it is light later in the day in the summer but I am good either way. Just hate changing it 2x/year.

Me too! Hate the change. Getting dark at 5:30pm is lame.

Tihink you buggers get confused....and you live there. From across the big pond it confuses me all the time. Sometimes I phone mates at inappropriate times and they get pissed off.

The suns raises and sets....i work around that.

Never understood day light savings and I'm past giving it any further thought as it sends me back to square one - confusion.

I like more light in the evening so I can do stuff after work.
I get up at 4 o'clock either way. I want a little light when get home.

What's funny is why we do the time change at all.

They initially did it so children could go to school and still get home to work on the farm or ranch.

It also had to do with the power distribution.

Since none of that matters any more, pick one, and stay.

Here in Cape Town (in summer ) the sun rises eary and only sets around 21h30 to 21h45 in the evening.

EU. This year was the last year it was mandatory to switch clocks. From now on every country can decide what to do. We here in Latvia switching back in spring and won`t change it anymore.

It’s never really bothered me too much since about age 17 or 18. I do remember in junior high being a little bit bummed because it brought an early end to being able to ride my dirt bike after getting home from school. But most of the time it was getting too cold anyway.

Now the time change is just something I barely notice since most of my clocks do the change automatically.

I think that I’d miss the late sunsets in the summer if we stayed on standard time, though. Growing up on a farm, the change probably benefited me and my neighbors more than the average person.

Get rid of this stupid clock switch, there’s no reason we need it getting dark at 5:30pm.

Actually that's what I think should happen. Go ahead a half hour in the spring and leave it there.

I don’t mind driving to work in the dark but I hate getting home and having 30min of light to do anything outside.

Just checking to make sure that everyone made it through the time portal safe and sound, and hopefully with only a small amount of trauma…..

I changed mine to 1775, when the USA still had balls.
