I’m good with this. Peacock has a good lineup of movies. Sign up for the SX/Motocross package and you get all their other content as well. More stuff to watch on there then Netflix in my opinion. I’ve got all the streaming subscriptions including PureFlix.

I’d rank them in this order.

HBO Max
Disney Plus
Peacock
Hulu
Netflix
PureFlix

LMAO... now people are paying more than ever for their multiple tv/streaming services... LOL... and getting crap in return....

this just gives me a good reason to stop watching SX/MX.... the broadcast was insufferable anyways... always with freak'n golf, or beer pong running long and missing the first 45 minutes.... always on weird channels... some live, some at some other weird point in the future... damn near impossible to watch the last few years anyways... will be glad to get a bunch of time back in my life where i am not sitting around watching a 3 hour commercial every week....

so ya... great move to peacock.... i get more of life back... get more riding time... and i don't have to see 8 googolplexes of Monster and Red Bull shoved constantly in my face anymore....
Lets see:

Internet-already paying when I had DirectV so this is not an added expense. Unless you have absolute shit internet you wouldn't have to upgrade to stream.

SlingTv-$35
Peacock-$5
Netflixs- $14

I was paying $180 for direct tv.

180-54=$126 per month savings with more things to watch than I will ever have time to do so. Only people who claim what you have are the ones who are too scared to cut the cord. It's pretty ridiculous.

As they say... a sucker and their money are soon parted.... have fun paying for what should be free....

Btw.. I got a bunch of kick ass air for sale.... only 69 bucks per bag.... at least you will get a bag with air in it for that 69 bucks, instead of endless marketing, ridiculous announcers, and the camera guys always looking at the wrong spot on the track...... lmao
You are absolutely clueless on this.

What f'n planet has it ever been FREE??

As referenced numerous times that you chose to ignore, SX/MX has almost always taken a 'premium' level TV package to watch, in modern times that costs $150+ per month.. $150 = NOT FREE

On the other hand, I paid $45 to watch Every. Single. Race. commercial free and whenever I wanted.

So you tell me, what is less....$45 for a year or $150 per month for a year?

The real draw of canceling cable is the ability to chose what you pay for and when you watch it. Below is a list of the most popular streaming services, you can pick any of these up for a month then cancel the next month. Some have a better price if you pay longer up front. You don't have to watch what is programmed and on, you don't have to fuck around with a dvr. You go thru the menus and pick your flavor, most don't even have commercials.

How much is a complete cable tv/internet bill? Close to $200 a month right?

BTW, saying that anything is "free" when you pay for cable TV is stupid. Back in the 90s races were on ESPN2 from 11pm-1am 2 weeks after the race. This wasn't even basic cable in my area, you had to sign a yearslong contract for an upgraded cable package, stay up, or set your vcr which was a complete pain in the ass.

Internet access $75
Peacock $5
Netflix $15
Disney plus/hulu/ESPN bundle $20
Hbomax $15
Youtube premium $10
Amazon prime video $10
Just to add to this, I get HBO max included for free with AT&T internet ($60/month). And another streaming service to point out - NBC Sports Gold trackpass is $5/month for a LOT of IMSA and other racing coverage.

No, he is paying 69 bucks for internet access, which is a whole other issue entirely.

Do you do your job for free? People like you that think shit should be free because you have a tv and internet can just fuck right off. Ad dollars/subscriptions help offset the costs of production, whether it's sports or produced content. Unless you pay for the premium service with no ad's, go eat a dick and stop complaining.

Just because there are tons of streaming options to pick from, doesn’t mean you have to subscribe to all of them.

I pay like $20 a month on streaming. I just pick and choose which platform has the show or movie o want to watch at that time and run it for a month or until I’ve finished the series.

Where is all this "free" supercross I've been missing out on?
The only time it's ever been free is the few times a year they put it on the main network broadcast.
Who's the sucker? The guy buying peacock or the one who doesn't even realize he's PAYING for cable?

I agree but streaming services haven't been what we all thought they'd be.
Now use sling, Netflix, peacock, Amazon, discovery+.
The TV gets pissed off if you change too many apps, so then it has to be unplugged to reset it. Sometimes the apps get buggy/slow. Each has its own UI. I kinda miss cable, it just worked.

I cut the cord about 9 years ago because my daughter only watched Netflix, and I only watched Motocross/Supercross.
Netflix + Peacock is $23/month. I need internet anyway, so that cost doesn't count.
I call that a good deal.
When RV2 was racing in Europe, I added MXGP-TV. Still a huge bargain over cable.

When Notre Dame played home opener on Peacock? Come on now

I have a bar I go to where I could get Supercross on tv but if they are on Peacock forget about it

If a bar in your neck of the woods isn't smart enough to pay $5 for a Peacock subscription to show a Notre Dame game then they deserve to lose the business.

I sort of wonder if the services like Peacock are like other ‘networks’ whether cable or celestial, where a commercial business like a bar, hotel, etc., pay far different rates than a regular, residential viewer?

Even if you have every streaming service to where you're paying as much as cable... you have them willingly. You can pick and choose which you want to pay for and those you don't. That has been the shit thing about cable for ever.
"Oh, you want this one channel? Ooooh, looks like you're gonna have to add this 100 channel/$50 a month package. Don't like it? You can change cable providers... wait, we're the only ones in town? That's too baaaaaaaad..."

We dont watch "network" shows...so Cable is long gone. 99% of what is provided by any of these companies suck balls. We only subscribe to a few services at a time. We dont' watch any other sports....especially these days.

Right now, I think we're paying about $25.00 a month for what streaming services we do have. (doesn't include our internet service)

Peacock I only intended to keep during racing and kill it....but now we're hooked on Yellowstone. Peacock is worth the $5.00

Couldn't give a crap less about NBCSN.

Peacock is cheap. Def need to fix the rewind live stream flaw, though.

If you still want your cable-like linear programming Fubo TV is pretty freaking awesome. You'll still need to add Peacock. But it's got most everything else. We've tried all of them. Hulu, Sling, YouTube, PS Vue(was great, RIP). Best thing about Fubo is it's fairly unrestricted on number of devices. It will complain if two set top boxes (Fire, Roku) are streaming at the same time from different locations. But limit of like 5 on non-TV devices, which has been plenty for us..

Did a little digging...

Looks like SX is gonna be on NBC, USA & CNBC. Also, streaming on Peacock...again (Sort of assumed based on NBC still airing the races).

Outdoors, the Nationals are facing the same changes in coverage.

CNBC is a great place for SX, do they still show dateline repeats on Saturday nights? CNBC comes with every cable package there is.

Also, all 11 seasons of Married with Children are on Peacock, that worth the subscription right there.

So many complaints about peacock and streaming pricing, meahnwhile they keep offering the brazen 130€ SX only deal for International people, at least for those who don't wanna cheese with VPN and all that crap.

I thought Dave Prater made it clear a month or so ago when everyone interviewed him that it would be on one the peacock owned channels along with the peacock app. Get with the times gramps its not 1995 anymore.

Wasn’t SX Peacock only last year though? I wish they’d make it streamable to the television via a tv app.

Supercross should be freely available on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Hulu etc.

I'm a very technical person, but it's a struggle for me to find the live Supercross coverage inside the peacock app. I know exactly where it is but it is not something anyone is going to stumble across.

All that said, thank god we don't have to pay $120-200/month for Dish or DirecTV to have it. Peacock is pretty cheap and I can dump it when there's no racing going on.
