Overall, not my taste. I really love the Lite line and its a shame the design they went with it not using traditional logos. They already have like 5 variations i dont see the need to add another.

I like a few sets of DST, i really like the whole no zipper thing and the BOA in the front on lite but maybe I will give them a shot.

Kinetic Fuel looks really good too but once you get spoiled with BOA hard to go down.

Yeah the entire line is pretty "meh".

Not my cup of tea either. Basic fonts plastered on blank gear is just so lackluster.

I always look at the youth line because my kid wears FLY. I like it. Some colorways are not my taste but others are. I like the new Formula helmets! They are a great company and the rider support is great!

If Walmart made gear that's what it would look like

I feel like for the past three or four years of Fly gear looks identical.

Wow, I’m a longtime fly guy of about 5-6 years now and those designs are pretty lame. My 21 set is way better

I do agree! Over $650 for a good kids helmet is silly. Considering it's all made cheap in China.

I really want to support Fly because of all that they put into the sport, but it seems like for the last few years they've been putting out gear with mostly bland colors and not much bold, vibrant stuff. I guess that goes for a lot of the gear companies right now, actually. Seems like FXR is really the only one putting out designs with bright, bold colors.

I'm with you. I've been a Fox guy almost entirely...I've tried to like Fly because of all they put into the sport and because JT is awesome, but just can't get on board.
FXR is the only other brand that has me thinking of switching.

Fair enough JT but I definitely feel like this line of gear was very phoned in/safe. I understand Fly has a massive reach and that you aren't the spokesman but (and I'm not claiming Fly to be shit or have jumped the shark) this line up doesn't push any edge or give anyone the impression that Fly is trying to do something different.

Good looking, high quality gear? Of course!

Boring and unimaginative? I think so.

I'm not dismissing Fly but personally I would like to see something that doesn't look like every other gear company. Especially something that doesn't look identical to their previous line of gear. I would hold this candle to basically every other brand at the moment as well, so please don't think I'm just trying to shit on Fly.

Again, I love Fly and everything they and You continue to do to keep this sport moving and growing but as a consumer, this definitely left me unsatisfied. I will continue to be a Fly supporter since they are the only gear brand that I see that is supporting all the content I consume but at the same time, I'm looking forward to the next release!

I appreciate the honest feedback. We do take some chances with love/hate ideas but typically like to put those into Limited Edition releases. There’s more to come on that front.

When I watch the launch video, I think the gear lines look incredible on riders. The Navy/Gold Evo set on Husky riders looks ridiculously good, imo. Brayton’s setup looks super clean and the Teal Lite stuff on Zacho really looked different than his typical setup.

I’m ok with differing tastes and styles, that’s how the world works. I struggle when people are truly unprofessional or simply trolling for a response, but honest feedback is always welcome. Our end goal is always to make the best product humanly possible. Full stop. Without feedback, we can’t get better.

That is very fair and I appreciate you taking the time to respond. Of course I don't speak for any body but myself, and gear design is very subjective, but I'm just trying to put into words what others may be feeling rather than just people saying 'I don't like it'. Enjoy your weekend my man and I look forward to the podcast tomorrow AM!

I much prefer the solid/block color schemes to the Underoo/clown costumes that most gear brands (including Fly) put out. I guess that's why there are usually plenty of options for everyone.

I'm excited to order some 2022 Fly. I think it's an improvement over 2021. I like that they kept some of the best color combos and added wave and fuel.

I think the wave navy orange and black rum look sick. Same with the fuel rust pant.

I'm not sold on the matching pants and jersey (some of rust and kinetic). I personally still prefer a contrast bw pants and jersey along with alternating chest and sleeve colors.

Like I said, there are a lot of reasons I WANT to switch to Fly, but of course you have to like the gear if you're paying for it, right?
I respect the R&D it took for the Formula, and the BOA system is innovative as well. Just can't get on board with the colors/designs. It's literally the only thing keeping me from switching.
That being said, I'm sure it's incredibly difficult to introduce designs and colors "everyone" likes.
You're right about the action shots; they definitely make the gear look better than the static catalog shots.
The white/gold stuff from last year was incredible, personally I'd like to see you guys head that direction more.

A bit disappointing. I’m a long time fly wearer but two years in a row I don’t think I will be buying anything from the new range. Thankfully the gear is well made and lasts so I can keep rocking the older stuff!

The worst looking line of FLY gear in the past 4 years. None of the sets are memorable to me; they just kind of all blend together. There are a couple decent sets, but nothing that other companies haven't already been doing. I will say the new Formula colorways are very cool. Just my opinion though.

Here's my feedback, I think you need to decide on one logo and run with it because you keep changing it up. I personally like the block letter logo you were using a lot in '18 and '19. The gear is fine but your boots are horrible with that zebra striped buckle strap.

Here's a quick photoshop design I made with your old block logo and I fixed your boots:

It's just not exciting or something we haven't seen before. When Fox releases new gear styles, I always say "Wow I can't believe this is a style people like" Then after looking at a few times I think "Holy sh!t, I want it" Then it's already sold out. Fly has always taken the subtle approach to gear imo. I mean Brayton & Zacho are pretty clean cut not outspoken guys. I think that type of moto market reflects back on the gear.

I really like the company, but the gear design seems to be missing something distinctive or interesting this year, (as if the logo's were removed it'd fit well into a joint supplement commercial for us ol vet riders getting "back to living") Still, Im sure the quality is there as usual.
