Honestly it seems like just about every gear company looks so similar and kinda bland. It's hard to believe it's been 20 years since I raced but those Thor outfits from like 99-02 were so killer. I still sometimes look at my jerseys on the wall and think they look awesome.

There really seems to be no in between these past few years espescially, it’s either bland or off the wall.

It's one thing to have a few sets that are bland, but they are ALL bland these last 2 years.

The Sharp bright colors of the past are gone. Off color blue, red . And how many people ride KTM's.. no orange?
and the Kinetic Wave Navy/Orange doesn't even count...

Sorry FLY, quality is great but there needs to be a new eye brought in...

Evolution gear looks pretty good but like others said, very much "meh" this year. I kinda feel like that has been the case the last couple of years with FLY.

I like most of it and will order a few sets from the boss lady as soon as I can.

Not long ago I picked up a lite set. It's killer.

This has been my go-to lately even if it's dated. I can only hope some more just teal stuff shows up in Le versions. (Google #loveforleighton to understand my need for teal).

JT lives and breathes this stuff, which is why I want to like Fly....so someone better check on him with all the "eh it's not good" in this thread.
He's probably sitting in a pebble ice bath right now hitting refresh hoping for more guys who love it.
It'll still sell, hopefully next year is better.

For me Fly just fits the best and I'll buy it every year in the colour I like the most. Might not be the best looking but durability and function come first for me

Is anyone aware of any online dealers which have any of the new ranges in stock? I'm from the UK but struggling to find any site which has listed it yet.

Thanks.

I'm in the minority here but I really like the blue/white/gold DST set. It's going to look great with my Husky's! Personally, I really like subdued and relatively calm gear. I'm sure it's a generational thing but loud/flashy gear isn't my thing.

Looks like a lot of gear that will look good covered in a bunch of logos but maybe a little plainer by itself.

I do agree about the logo though. The old backwards/forwards F makes me think early 2000s fly every time, but not in a nostalgic way, more like oh no I can't believe I kissed that chick way.

The colors are bit on the safe side for me. Nothing really pops except for the lite grey/teal/Hi vis is starting to grow on me. Been riding for years now with Fly and i absolutly love the lite gear! So much comfort, you hardly feel it. Not so durable but doesn't matter to me. I still will be bying Fly but hoping for some crazy limited editions. My F2 carbon helmet has changed for a formula now and loving it! Very happy with a company that keeps evolving .

I really want to support Fly because of all that they put into the sport, but it seems like for the last few years they've been putting out gear with mostly bland colors and not much bold, vibrant stuff. I guess that goes for a lot of the gear companies right now, actually. Seems like FXR is really the only one putting out designs with bright, bold colors.

Did you forget about canvas also?…

I love the Lite and DST gear. I do prefer the fit of the Lite stuff, but the DST isn’t far off, and for being stretchy and light it’s pretty durable stuff. I’m not really a fan of the pre ‘18 Fly stuff, either, but I’ve been wearing some version of their gear since then and have zero complaints and no reason to change it up.

My favorite set so far was the LE from a couple years ago. I’d definitely like to see more of the 90’s colorways w/modern design, but that’s just my taste.

In all fairness, any brand that came out with their gear after the TLD @nal launch didn’t have a chance.

The black with green stripe is still my go to as well as a black and gray set that isn’t pictured here

Every time you buy fly you are sacrificing supporting a REAL motocross gear company, owned by a small handful of people that aims to make a profit.

WPS not a real motorcycle company? I’d rather buy from them than fox. Gear actually lasts, it’s comfortable, simple and fairly priced. They provide a lot to our community so I don’t see how you can say they’re not a real moto company? What boutique gear brand do you run?

lol what? Fly is distributed by WPS, one of the largest dealer catalogs in the market. The gear is made in China.

WPS might be. However Fly gear only exists as a loss leader. They dont make any $$ from it.

-Thor is no different, at least it kind of claims to have a racing legacy - and I would hope Torsten Hallman made some $$ from it somewhere along the lines.

-I'm an advocate of any gear company that isn't Fly or Thor

Man, I wish I had 20 sponsors to logo up my gear to make use of all that blank space.

What a wildly inaccurate statement. Sorry man, your thesis is just wrong.

This is also untrue. We have almost vacated China entirely, and likely will be 100% out a year from now.

I like some of it, a lot! Most gear is just not my style. The odd blue, and rust color is great! Yeah, I will avoid China and other similar places no matter what.

The PC guys are in some off the wall stuff today. I've liked a few of the Fox sets Kenny has been in this year, but unfortunately I'd have to sell my bike to buy them.

JT, do you know any online dealers which have the new range in stock already? (UK customer looking to import it from America) thanks.

Kiwi must be od'n on vegimite.

Im proud to rep fly because they give back to the riders. I don't get anything free and don't expect anything free, but I did get an excellent sponsorship from fly this year that I'm grateful for and it was 100% my choice to send them and only then a resume.

They employ tons of US people and some are friends.

Just got home from moto'n and I wore my new Lite stuff. I really like it. The boa system is sweet and it's overall very comfortable and seems like it'll be durable even given it's lack of thickness. Can't wait to get my 22 stuff.. hoping by luck I'll get it before vet fest!

Jt, tell Gills, if you talk to him, that he better not botch any starts at LL like last year and make every one count. Lol

Sorry JT but the designs are just kinda boring. I like the innovation but the design team probably needs to move over to the Plus size department at Target.

Not quite yet but it’s on the way! We are suffering with logistics challenges like most of the world.
