Make it easier to search forum topics so, there aren’t double threads.
There’s issues with private messaging. It’s a crap shoot if
the message goes through or is received.
I also cannot delete anything without going back into desktop mode although I’m on mobile.

Maybe don’t click people for silly stuff. Give them a warning first.

Mobile. Show who thumbs down or dont show who thumbs up. Consistency is key. If you cant man up to your down vote dont do it. Feel free to thumbs down this! Haha!

If you don’t remove the thumbs up or down , would be nice to see it more like the Thumpertalk version. More options with theirs. It’s not always easy to support another guys situation or whatever with an up or down thumb. After going over there recently , I really appreciate how you try to keep the peace over here and get rid of the b.s. that has nothing to do with dirt bikes. Thanks for all that you do to keep us in line over here. must be a tough job 😀

Improve the search function! Example: I would like to be able to search the bazaar section only for Yamaha parts.

I love how the platform allows diehard enthusiasts a place to rant rave and carry on. Everyone that comes here are serious fans putting money back into the sports. I don’t think there needs to any change. Bad threads weed themselves out and good one’s rise to the top.

Make it so you can put your curser on a forum topic and be able to read the post inside. This saves clicking into threads you are not interested in when they have a fishing topic line. Many forums have this ability.

Thumpertalk has good forum software from my limited time there. I like how after you submit a reply and then click the back button, it goes back to the forum root and not your reply you just wrote (did you follow that?).

I agree with this. The only reason I can think of for the thumbs up/down would be if you were running some kind of search or popularity algorithm, like for reasons of money being attached or something like that.

Add an icon that says " you disagreed with me once, so I'm going to thumbs down anything you post even though you are 100% correct".

Buy a DRZ, Change the name to bushwood and charge to post. Create another forum called Motodrive.

I'm very familiar with Thumpertalk and I'm not sure the software is any better. They have a serious un-monitored troll problem that will end up killing them if they don't stop it. (comments that have nothing to do with the subject) The best feature they have is the notifications that someone has quoted you and an icon reminding you of things you have commented on.

Forums need to be active, too many sub forums kills that as they become dead. Keep the action moving, people want someone to converse with. Brands, types of riding besides moto and regions for events and meet ups are good IMO.

I'm not sure a change in software would gain anything, probably piss all the no tech old guys off.

Dark mode, ever since I had LASIK I hate white backgrounds.

I like the site the way it is, go on it numerous times a day. I like the thumbs up/down, However (IMO) kinda lame having no identity to thumbs down vote. Own up if you dislike. What is the logic behind identity revealed for up vote, but hiding identity for down votes???

Take a look at advrider.com forums as a template. That site is the bomb.

Whatever you do.... this board needs a decent search feature....what is available now is horrible.

Charging people to participate....nope....you'll lose a shitload of traffic. I'm sure you know....traffic is revenue.
Instead...give people the option to donate some $$$$ and get extra features.

As others have said, a search that actually works and dark mode.

Dark mode, a useable PM system... Golden.

A probation period for new accounts, post limits and not being able to start a new thread, keeps the people who get banned from coming right back under a new user name and polluting the forum.
