Her screeching and screaming is terrible and then with all the bike noise being louder than she is makes it impossible to listen to her much less figure out what she is saying especially when I'm trying to pay attention to the race action that the producer is always cutting into with a reply from last week or last year.

Suggestion is get a new producer that understands motocross and/or racing and quit having her talk during the race with information that is not important at that time. Have her do her bits during the down time of the races when they are trying to find something to do or say. Maybe with no background noise she won't feel she has to scream (producer and sound person might want to learn how to adjust the sound to her mike) all the time and remove that ridiculous mask when no one else is around.

If one tunes into the program and listens to Diffy and Will they will begin to wonder how did we start receiving Australian TV programming. Are there no American announcers that they can find? Do they think it helps with the international audience. THE MAJOR PROBLEM IS NBC IS TONE DEAF!

Yep, yet another thing that the MXGP coverage does better than the US. Fewer than 50% of any given broadcast is actual racing...plenty of time between races for fun stories and dishing to different reporters.

When the action is on I want to see nothing but the race and hear nothing except the race itself being called.

Blair knows his stuff, no question, his segments still bore me to death and I just don't like the guy, sorry.
TBH, out of this years broadcast team, RC is probably the only one I'd keep.
And more because I think he's a cool dude than because I'm impressed with what he delivers.

I find the whole team pretty tacky and cheesy, to a point it's sometimes embarrassing, Buttledge being the icing on the cake.
Guess I must be really insecure.

I liked what's her name...I'm totally drawing a blank I think they replaced here years ago. She was I guess a bit older and that's how the TV business works although I don't give a rats ass what they look like.

Will is fine as a co host. Folks, this sport will never be main stream and people worried about "growth" are a hopefully delusional bunch. If the likes of Ricky, James and Chad during the moto boom of the early 2000's didn't "grow" our sport to whatever levels these business moguls expected it will never. It's a niche sport/entertainment and that's pretty much what it will remain. There do need to be improvements to the product in the form of editing, hosting and directing of the program but Will Christen is doing a good job. The producers could use some informative direction.

Will doesn't bother me at all, but I agree with the sentiment that someone should go. 3 people (2 in the booth and one trackside) is the maximum that I think makes sense. They added Blair a few years ago, which already made it too crowded, and now they're sprinkling in a 5th part of the team. Too many mouths to feed with airtime...it distracts from the actual racing.

She speaks far too fast. She’s a professional and very competent, yet her accent adds to the difficulty in understanding, compounding things- with a mouth-covering, wtf - she is saying. That’s not the major issue, however. They will often divert the conversation to her for commentary, in the midst of an on-track battle, which makes us consume far too much alcohol, smashing TV’s etc....Look, I’m originally from England and I don’t know what the **** she’s on about half the time.....

I don't know what it is about her, but I definitely do start tuning her out completely when she talks as well. It's not like I can't understand her or anything, but damn she is just hard to follow for some reason.

After reading all the comments about her lately, I actually paid attention to her tonight, which I never had before. She's easy on the eyes and does a fairly good job, but IMHO it's the combination of her accent and a terrible broadcasting voice that makes her hard to understand and makes me want to tune her out. Seems like a nice gal and tries, but not a good fit for SX. A million times better than Doucheledge Wood though.

As someone upthread said, Will just needs to pare down her monologues to a manageable length, so she doesn't have to talk so frantically.

Ashley would be fabulous for her job. Concise, and knowledgeable.

As for Dianna Dahlgren, LOL. Very easy on the eyes, but dumb as a box of rocks. Great for the goofy scripted segments she used to do (SX Ed, remember that?) but unless they showed her writhing half naked on the screen, I wouldn't want to hear her commentary whatsoever.
