Again, a small thing between friends/business partners was accidentally brought up and blown out of proportion.

I appreciate the support, but not clicking on SML content as a protest doesn’t really help me haha. That’s where my entire paycheck comes from.

I’ll be back on there eventually, we just have some things that have to get taken care of first while we try to rebuild an audience and fulfill advertising contracts.

DMXS is only good when Kevin is on. David just gargles every rider and tells them how awesome they are. The interviews just sound like fan boy. Kevin is super funny and balances the show, but he is only on once in a while.

Swap moto has Anton at races to provide content, produces videos all over the place, went to Florida to Aldons etc, involves riders in his show, promotes a large local race series in CA, and does weekly review shows. DMXS has no consistency and like I said is just not great with David by himself. Swap and Matthes do this for a living, those guys do not.

Steve's content is the gold standard for sure and nothing comes close IMO, but I like all the moto content available to us for the most part.

Same here. I underwrite mortgage loans all day and just having the background noise of a podcast helps me concentrate better. More than music even.

Only thing good about swap moto is Anton really. Donn is a tool and a cool guy. Who also can’t drive for shit, 75 in the fast lane is not the way. Always cooler than everyone at the track. Takes pics of the slow guys wearing old gear and tags his cool buddy’s making fun of them. Forgot donn was a crazy fast dude himself... But pretty lame of donn to pull that, when pulp literally promoted his shit when he had nothing. Seems all he does is blow on whoever is cool at the time. We need Anton on his own

Listening to podcasts almost every day whilst working, changed my life. Ive worked alone, at home for 14 years now and sometimes get some serious 'cabin fever'. Before covid, my better half would come home from work and be glad to chill out at home, whereas I would sign-off from work and want to do anything BUT stay at home. A tricky situation. Losing yourself in 4-5 hour podcasts has been refreshing. Try it, you might like it.

I have enough time that I listen to every pulp related show, whiskey throttle if a new episode is out, some of swaps, main event moto, keefers weekly episode, industry seating, and weege though out the week. I drive truck so im in the seat alot. I honestly enjoy podcasts more than music now.

I'm sure Steve loves Swap taking any chance he can to run down one of his sponsors, that must've gone down well with Ride engineering when Steve was helping Swap get his new gig up and running.

I tried listening to Swaps kickstart podcast. Felt like the first 10 minutes was him and Aray discussing each other PB/Strava time on some random mountain bike climb that anyone outside of California couldn't give two shits about. Made me realize that this podcast wasn't aimed at the regular moto fan, it was aimed at a very small niche audience of socal bros that could relate to the crap they were talking about so I switched out.

I do hope Anton gets back on pulp at some point though. Seems like good people and a rare talent for this industry.

If I'm Matthes I dig into the PulpMX vault and hire Anton away from Swap.....he'd be perfect as a correspondent and would attend any and every race that Steve wants to skip. Plus he can do photography, video, and provide some alt content for Matthes that will appeal to a younger demographic.

Not sure Michael would ever leave Donn though....he's pretty loyal.
