Actually, winter is our dry season.

It'll be hit or miss on the rain. I have stood in one spot and watched it rain across the street.

I just saw some models for the week, the timing looks really bad. It does look like Saturday for the rain.

Keep in mind, SX isn't the only game in town. Daytona is this week, the Daytona 500 is Sunday...so they're being super watchful about the weather and the modeling.

To be fair they also had an 86% chance of rain and thunderstorms for the superbowl in Tampa and it was blue bird skies here the whole day.

Aren't Florida tracks pretty sandy? I raced the Winter Series down there in the late 70s and all 4 tracks I rode were whooped out sand tracks.
