So I have a yz250f 2015 but the motor broke and I wanted to get a new motor or a used one but it's hard to get and damn expensive so I was without a bike.

I don't have the money to buy a new bike I have family, two kids and you know priorities haha but then today my dad who loves motocross to death got me a new 2021... DAMN I was surprised! I went to visit my parents and there she was

That’s awesome man, Congrats! Your dad sounds like one generous man. Man I wish I was 150-170 pounds, the YZ250fs are so nice.
im a squid but at 195#'s this bike is amazing you will see a lot of 170+ riders loving the newer 250f's

40 hours in just freshened up the top end. Happy to report everything is looking good, no real signs of any abnormal wear.

How were the valves? I think the Yamaha can really get to 50 hours without anything besides oil, oil filters, and air filters (if you're careful while you change them!).

As far as adjustment is concerned all four were in the middle of the spec. I did not really see anything noteworthy upon disassembly and inspection, visually I didn't see any wear or pitting on either the valve landings or seats. Overall everything looked pretty good. We're gonna send it for another 40 and see what happens.

Thanks for reporting back! Good to hear. I usually just ride a 250F for about 50 hours and sell it after 1-2 years of riding. You seem get to ride a lot more than I do!

Hey guys. Just popped in to say that today I put a deposit down on a 21 Monster Ed. Contacted 2 different dealers. First one was 9900 OTD and I said no thanks. Contacted the 2nd dealer, which is farther away but where I bought my 125. They went $8800 OTD. So that was a no-brainer. It'll be here in April. I'm excited.

Rekluse Torque Drive system going in tomorrow, first ride should be Sunday at BirchCreek. Also contacted Jesse at WilliamsMotoWerx a few weeks back to get a head and cams built, that should be shipping Monday. Will report how everything all feels.

You get a deposit on that deal? Otherwise theres nothing that stops them from jacking the price up when it arrives. Not saying that will happen but not impossible

Two weeks ago the best price I could get OTD was like 9800 (For the blue one) in the DFW area. Was literally pulling in the dealership to buy it when I decided I better at least call a dealer in Oklahoma I’ve bought from before. Ended up making the 3 hour trip to Oklahoma and left with the monster edition for $8254 otd. Haven’t owned a 250f since 2004 and so far I am in love!

Rekluse Torque Drive Manual: Super smooth operation at the lever, pretty dramatic feeling change just butter smooth. On the track there is ZERO slip but doesn't feel grabby or too aggressive, very connected feeling putting power to the ground. I didn't not experience any need to use the OTF adjuster and no change in feel or operation from the beginning to end of my moto's like i did with the OEM clutch. Biggest downside is the price, other than that 10/10

Just put a deposit on the next one coming in to Romney Cycles in WV. They aren’t sure on the color, I’m just getting the next one available. Fingers crossed it’s blue. I was told early to mid March.

The 2 dealers near us (I'm in PA) that I talked to each had 1 of each colorway coming in. The dealer that I got mine from has the Blue one coming mid-March and mine (Team Edtn) some time in April. So maybe there is a pattern of 1 more of each colorway coming in?

I was at one of my local dealers yesterday (Lojaks Cycle Sales) picking up some parts and while I was there they were unloading two of them off a truck. Not sure the color of them or the price but they were both definitely 2021 yz250f's. So if anyone is looking for one, might want to look them up and give them a call. They are near Pittsburgh PA.

Tri county in wv has them for 83-86 out the door depending on color, both are in stock I believe. Their website is generally accurate with inventory from my experience with them.

Romney is $7700/7850 if paying cash and out of state purchase. They were by far the best price I found after calling numerous places in the mid Atlantic area.

I just missed a Monster version on Friday. The sales guy called me and said it came in but I was busy with work. Forgot to call Saturday and when I called Monday it had sold over the weekend. But I hadn’t put a deposit down on it yet.

Oh well, it’s so muddy right now anyway I wouldn’t be riding.

How’s everyone liking their bikes? I got mine in December but of course I haven’t ridden it yet as it’s still winter up here. Can’t wait!

Ya I almost thought about going to Tri County or RG Motorsports, just to get it out of state. But I decided to just go back to Millers, where I have always been treated great. I still can't believe the other place (which I won't name) quoted me $9900 OTD. After seeing that some of you guys got some really great deals, that is just a crime. I think I did ok too though, so it's all good, in the end.

Same here with mine I picked up last Friday. The weather has been killing me. I'm hitting Horn on Sunday. Where are you headed?

Probably Riverdale, just trying to get back into it after two big injuries. Gonna take it slow and work and technique and RDale is easiest place for me to do it
