9/16/2026 12:00pm Don’t let anyone get you down. As a rider, you have to go for it! Sure, there’s some valid concerns in the thread but if it’s primarily just you riding, and you are able to get a Stark, you will be set. The acreage is plenty big enough to have a great track that will keep you entertained. As others...

First they got rid of the uphill triple a few years ago for more vip seats. That blows but at least they still have godzilla. Then they add in the crappy woods section that the riders hate and looks like crap on tv.. ok. Now last year for mxon they get rid of godzilla and just turn it into a hill. They dont even jump down the other side anymore either. When I saw that last change for mxon last year I was like ok theres all different skill levels at mxon so it makes the track safer, itll be...

I had one of the most simple and economical LL I've ever had this year. And ironically it's the only time I've ever actually gotten in the program and raced! Showed up on Sunday evening and pulled into a little spot off the road up on stagecoach hill and setup a canopy. Had a bunch of Best Western hotel points saved up, so staying the week in a hotel cost us $260 total. Tossed the bike in the Metris van and drove from Ohio getting 25mpg. Since the weather was great, never even washed the bike the whole week, just...

Its all about making memories. I was a single dad from the start. Took both my son and daughter to mx and bmx races, camped, kayaked, boated and stayed busy. Just today I got a random text from my daughter about certain things we did and how she missed it. Both her and my son thank me frequently for all the fun we had. Daughter once said recently about how much I sacrificed for her and her brother. I told her there was no sacrifice, I enjoyed every minute of it. Some days we just didnt eat 3 meals. 😂😂😂...

8/4/2026 12:43pm You seem to be missing the point completely. If a restaurant I support were to suddenly start charging me a booth rental fee I should just be fine with it since I spend a lot of money on food each year anyway?? Although I respect your carefree outlook towards new costs, I just don’t share it.

What’s ironic is thinking monetizing everything and pricing everyone out of things they enjoy and support is somehow extremely American hahaha

It's easy to do, there's a link on his Youtube to become a supporter, I think I pay like $5 a month and it's worth every penny and then some

7/30/2026 12:09pm This is a much better way of explaining the point I was trying to get across. Simply put, pay attention to how the water drains and do whatever you can to make sure your layout lets the water run off of your track, not pool onto it.

I built and rebuilt a bunch of MX tracks years ago while I was riding more. And recently have been building my own SXS track on mostly flat land. My past experience with MX tracks is not as relevant as I expected it to be with a SXS. After building a couple sections that would be amazing for a MX bike I found out they just didn't work for my SXS. So me being experienced in building tracks, and finding myself as a newby now with the flow for MTB and SXS stuff makes me feel like my method may...

7/30/2026 10:37am This tip is probably obvious to most but when I was younger I learned the hard way not to ever take dirt from the riding lane to build anything. Always grab dirt from the side of the lane…unless you want a Koi pond before the face of your jump.

I would do doubles with forgiving landings before tables. I know you said you can source dirt, but tables take up a ton of dirt and time, especially if you aren’t borrowing from hills or bottoms incorporated into the design. Just my two cents after moving way too much dirt in my life with way too small of equipment lol

7/30/2026 10:30am I would highly recommend riding whatever layout you come up with first before moving any dirt so you can confirm that it’s going to flow nicely together. I’ve built some sections before that I thought looked great but when I actually rode them, it was a different story. My other piece of advice is to keep in mind any low...

4/27/2022 11:06am I could be way off because I’m not an expert and I honestly hope I am but I don’t see how this can’t end up being a lot more than a “correction”. We might not be in the same situation as ‘08 but that’s because we’re in an all new ‘22 situation. Housing prices are out of control EVERYWHERE, inflation...

3/16/2022 10:09pm So maybe I’m way off base but I always thought it was because you have to factor in the height of the optic mounted on said rifle. So if the scope is 2 inches higher than the actual barrel and your bullet is losing height the second it leaves the barrel, even though your optic is creating a straight line...
