Running the "Silver Bullshit" a time or two a year.

Helping wrench on these every now and then.

Golf keeps me hating myself.
Though it does have its moments.
Top Golf Minneapolis June of '19.

Kids are my hobby! 3 little ones keep me busy, no time for all my selfish hobbies I used to have other than bbq’n and cookin. Before kids I was into a lil bit of everything. Shooting, camping, surfing, skating, playing drums. As the kiddos get a lil older I look forward to getting them into all the above with the exception of surfing.

Ahh yes. How could I forget to mention golf. I've been chasing that elusive sub 80 round for a couple of years now. I've hit 80 about 6 or 7 times now. One round I was going into 18 and a par would have given me a 76. . . alas I blew it on the last hole and hit a 9 or 10 on it to give me 80 for the day.

My 2 year old and my 14 year old keep me busy. The 14 year old loves to fish and hunt like I do and I am pleased.

Its typically the opposite! A good shot on the last hole to make you keep coming back! That picture was the week before Christmas. I live in Northwest Montana, and was able to golf 11 straight months this year.

I do yard work as a hobby. Laughing I find it interesting learning about grass, soil, and soil nutrients, plus I just like the way it makes our house look. We just moved so the new house has a yard that looks like shit, but here’s our old yard. Literally felt like carpet when barefoot. I’ll be renovating the new lawn this fall.

Beautiful.

One of my favorite hobbies is my lawn. I have learned a lot but still have a long way to go.

Based on the trees in the background I'm guessing you have a lot of clay in the soil? Did you amend your soil?

That's because you suck at golf! Hey, I need you to weld something up for me when you ain't busy, I'll hit you up my dude.

I enjoy working, working, working, and occasionally playing WhackFuck with IWreckalot when my time allows it.

There seriously needs to be more than 24hrs in a day to accomplish everything.

Thanks! When I first got into this, I was convinced I had clay. Growing up everyone always said we had clay. I did a jar test which proved otherwise, it was actually quite sandy. I then got a formal soil test to confirm. I haven’t amended it with anything. I just mulch mow all the time to put all that organic matter back into the soil. That house had a lot of trees, so in the fall I was mowing twice a week mulching up all the leaves. It was oddly satisfying seeing a leaf covered lawn, then mowing and the leaves completely gone. lol

Shooting really, and handguns specifically are what I love the most. I still care for MX but honestly truth be told shooting dominates my life far far more now. Rifles/large firearms in England (also airsoft, airguns and archery in the garden) and when I can make it out there (usually 2 or 3 times a yr) I'm a member of this place in NI for the handguns:

(Not me in the vid).

Also anything to do with water really; swimming, surfing and snorkelling when I can get round to it (and travel is permitted...). Otherwise PC gaming.

Not sure what part of Texas you live in, but surfing in Texas can actually be quite fun and surprisingly good at times/places. I'd be happy to direct you to fun surf, but basically its better the further south you go.. You have to be on it to nail the conditions, so I'm never more than a mile from the beach.. haha!

If not obvious by my above comment, surfing is my favorite hobby but I skateboard much more.. I had my local park all to myself this morning... Grindline's "Monk" (RIP) made it, its super flowy with pool coping everywhere. At this point, I mostly cruise and get my cardio up, there is also a small fun "street" area with banks, etc. not pictured that I spend half my time on..

These are my off-season indoor activities besides playing some hockey. I have been building models and dioramas since I was a kid. And I also enjoy high-end audio. I design and build my own speakers. From winding my own inductors for the crossovers to the finish cabinetry.

To add to my snowboarding post, I also kind of collect older snowboards as well as still have my first board (burton Backhill) and every board I’ve bought since I started in 88.. Most are wall hangers now, but I pull out some of the ones that the straps haven blown out. (Sorry for the messy basement pic. I was cleaning lol)

Up until this last year it’s been only moto for me...but, my boys wanted to mountain bike...so I bought a mountain bike for both of them and for myself...and have started riding that this year...then my daughters wanted to start snow skiing...so I picked that up this winter to take them.

I no good at either...but it’s fun to learn something new...and it’s fun to learn them along side my kids.

My kids are expanding my hobbies...It’s fun to have my four kids (7, 10, 13, 14) and my wife and I on the slopes...and to be out on the single track with my boys peddling away.

Stand up Jetski's in the summer if not riding Moto. Snowmobiles in the winter. More hobbies never hurt anyone

I don´t have much time to ride anymore, nor does work/career allow for the injuries. At 36 I crash like a sack of potatoes, so I´m contemplating doing enduro instead. Still follow the sport, but spend money on other hobbies like traveling, culture, music and reading. I read mostly history, science and politics which is handy to understand some of the places I travel to

I thought 2020 was going to be my year to break 80 too, but some minor complications from a hernia surgery had me on the sideline for the last half of the summer and the best I could muster was a couple of 83's.

Pretty sure I was on track to beat 83 one round but we got forced off the course by some lightning at the end of the day and stupid me didn't grab the card from the cart to be able to finish the round.
