LOL - hilarious. As long as they keep it to banter only. I sometimes wonder about how calling each other out on public platforms will effect their whole emotional stability considering they're just kids and this kind of thing can sometimes bother them more than a fully mature adult (if this is just strategic PR then obviously thats not applicable). I guess they'll soon be racing the big leagues and making their own millions anyway but I sure as hell enjoyed that post by Lil Ferry Laughing

I honestly loved it. Raw and emotional. Kid just doesn't want to lose.

I think those were just heated words after a moto by Haiden. If they didn’t want backlash they shouldn’t of put it in their YouTube video series. Lil red did nothing wrong.

I don’t think they made any friends at Mini O’s. Between this, the racing with Casey, and the track “cutting” incident, the pot was certainly stirred.
About the "not making friends" comment. They may want to look at the history of good ol' 800 and the believe the hype and Mikey trying to give Kdub pointers for going thru the sand rollers at Millville....better to earn your competitions respect than coming in with the target on your back. But I guess different people need different motivations.

Brian knows what he’s doing and what sells. 100% chance they are laughing behind the scenes as these kids build hype behind manufactured drama
Yep, Brian commented on the instagram post so could just be an inside joke to get views/followers.

I have a 16yo daughter. If there’s ever been a time I could fast forward a couple years, this would be the time.

Deegan is 14, Ferry 15? Do you remember how smart we were at 14 ? I mean, yes we were smart, but do you remember how many stupid things we also did or said at that age ???

I just think they will grow up very well, no need to bash and create a long term bad reputation based on teen stuffs..

The video was hilarious though !

You ever seen Jeff ride? If that’s being a “squid” then 99.9% of riders should hang it up.

He came out of retirement a few years ago and without much training became a constant main event guy again.

I almost wonder if Brian is setting the scenario for this kid to be hyped, disliked, and (most importantly) talked about intentionally. The way the kid acts and the things he says certainly paint a big target on his back. If it is intentional, he is doing a great job of it.

I've said it a few times before; the sport needs the guys that you love to hate. I 'cant stand' this Deegan kid, but I hope he keeps it up and the rivalry grows.

Read this thread then watched the clip, expecting a meltdown or something.
All this reaction over that? I've said worse to my Vet class buddy on a practice day. Grinning

You know why right? You know what Grant did purposely to his brother, while his bro was riding injured?

Also notice, he’s racing Supercross. You must be a HELL of a rider if a SX main event rider is a “Squid” in your terms.

An aggressive pass in a turn is not nearly the same level of dirty as looking back and jumping over on someone.

Nor is it as bad as shining a laser pointer in a racer's eyes.

Mike lined up behind the gate and chose to race with a broken knee cap understanding the risk is there he could be taken out or crash. In regards to being sketchy, yes I think purposely cross jumping multiple consecutive jumps in supercross outweighs being taken out in a corner.

Also, "Squid," was actually Jeff's term, not mine. We square or do you need me to school you some more?

And as someone who has broken their kneecap, riding with a broken patella is tough as fuck and equally stupid.

Isn't this Ferry's first year on a 125? If Ferry is cherry picking what was danger boy doing at Lorettas in mini sr's and not the super mini class....

Jeff can call them Squids because he’s the only professional racer in the argument. You aren’t. You did call a professional racer a Squid though, hilarious coming from a mid pack D rider.

Both these kids have the dream of becoming pro racers. Jeff’s done it already.

It feels like kids in the US ride all year at compounds and then bitch about whatever petty drama happens at the two or three big races they do each year.

Meanwhile, in Europe, kids are digging into the sand, riding in the mud, doing whatever it takes to be fast as hell, without nary a concern for this bullshit.
