So how does something like that happen? He's done that rhythm a thousand times. Too much forward body weight? Clicked neutral?

Damn, what a notchy get off. Almost like a lego block or something. Glad he is alright. Could've lost traction on the face, swapped a little, cross rutted, or even just popped off the wrong spot. Something caused him to come up short/kick the rear end up. Glad he is alright.

Glad he is ok... But every year we start the SX season without key riders due to practice/training/testing crashes.

This sport often does not forgive an error.

Sometimes shit just goes wrong. Jump faces change throughout practice and are never the exact same from day to day. Could’ve been something before the jump face that caused the shock to load differently. Who knows sometimes. I wouldn’t go blaming the blue pig just yet... glad he’s okay!

Oh no! So he broke his hand. SX prep is a meat grinder. Let's cross fingers that he will line up for the first round and slowly build from there. I hope his confidence remains intact.

That is the very first thing I thought. The big blue pig sure has hurt a bunch of guys, and guys leaving it have done well on their next ride. Down vote it if you want, but Webb, Barcia most recently and others prior.

Crashes like that are where things can get really bad. It sucks that he broke his hand, but I'm glad that it wasn't worse. Looking forward to seeing Dylan in this upcoming season. Heal up!
