I lost my Buster in 2016. 16.5 year old Border Collie. Want to see a guy cry his eyes out. Putting him down was one of the hardest things I have ever done. He was my best friend and will never forget him. Now I have a new best friend named Mandy.
I had to put down my very best dog, a 13 year old Border Collie, three years ago. I cried for a week or more. Still have a hole in my heart. Got a Border Collie puppy who’s turning into another great friend but damn I still miss my old pup to this day.

Elvis!
I lost him maybe 6 or 7 years ago.. I still miss him! I've never been a 'little dog person'.. He was a little shit and a complete pain in the arse but man he crawled up deep in my heart! Tougher than woodpecker lips! He'd fucken go anything! Chase foxes, growl at thunder.. We think the wild dogs got him as he left out the backdoor one night fit as a fiddle and just never came back.. I can only assume he went out with his boots on! My brothers dog was fully looking for him on the farm and my family would follow her but she never found him!
Here's to Elvis!

Here’s mine, he loves helping me in the garage, but replace “helping me” with “destroying everything”.

That's Hank, he's a rescue from the local paper mill. My step mom took him home from the scale house, somehow he moved in with me. Biggest most loving, lazy dog in the world. He speaks with his eyebrows!

This!
Both dogs I posted are rescues.. Dunno if they're better than a bred dog but there's a lot to be said for my sense of wellbeing when this is her on a -2c night haha..

This was Dusty. We got him from a fish camp in Baja. A friend has a place by there and had a dog from the previous litter that was awesome. I was supposed to go down and pick one out. Got down there and he was the only one left.
I had some Mexican names picked out since he was Mexican. But when I picked him up I said "Oh man he's dusty", He perked up and the name stuck. He was a "South of the border collie"

The security window in our front gate

Our new dude is shorter so we had to remodel the security window lol
