Tickle would also be a good fit but might be a little more expensive

Joey is probably looking for a bagget like salary. Just my guess.

Trust me I’m a huge bogle fan. I guess I meant riding for free as a relative term. I know he’s getting paid but no where near what Joey wants. We will never know for sure but I think they have a great rider and teammate to BB4 in bogle

...Maybe its time for Coach Gibbs to whip out the AMEX and go purchase a few KTM's for his team if they are planning to race this upcoming season?

If the results come you can bet they would get support.

...three of those four guys you mentioned have won either regional supercross titles, national MX titles, or 450 national races.

the fourth hasn't won anything except a few 250 motos and a few burned bridges. his best finish was second in the 250 west way back in 2016.

if he is looking for a "Baggett like" salary, he may be aiming a little high I think. I'm not hating on the guy, but facts are facts...

Joey is one national title and a few 450 wins and podiums short of commanding anything close to Baggett.

What does it say about a rider if JGR is saying they "don't like working with him"? By all accounts this is the most laid-back and easygoing team in the paddock. Is the rider the problem or is the team the problem? I do believe Joey is talented but he needs a bit of a makeover to up his fan appeal.

Bogle might be a super good test rider too.

Feel like a lot of teams hangon to guys because they help with testing

Looks like Hartranft go on with HEP Buzuki squad. Happy for him. His body size could be a much better fit for the 450. Wonder if JGR could possibly merge with that team and add Tickle?

I will say this Joey tested for a certain team and lets just say the team was less impressed with his attitude

Maybe it will take not having a factory ride for that attitude to improve. Since he's turned pro he's never really faced a lot of adversity in finding a ride or a team. Barcia certainly changed his ways (a bit, let's be honest) after he had to buy his own bike for MEC in 2017.

I'm pretty sure Tickle passed me today at Perris on a KTM... Unconfirmed though.

Why does that Kid always seem Jaded in a way? What am I missing?

Maybe Joey should start fresh in the GPs? I need someone to root for that’s American.

I don't see it happening, but I would absolutely approve of this...

Too late. No more room in any factory squad.

I dont see him putting effort that GP need nowadays nor any teams would see him as upgrade.

Joey's "attitude" has been mentioned more than once. Talented rider...but might have more of a "too big for his britches" position than some teams want to contend with.

Especially with his results over the years. They've been good (except 2020 which was objectively pretty bad), but not nearly good enough so that teams could overlook his alleged attitude issues.

Coy Gibbs is one of the nicest team owners out there.

So, here he has this team that may or may not return on Suzuki, and he has no riders under contract that can finish near the front. So basically he has almost nothing.

EVEN with all of that going against him, he is saying that the team will not bring back a talented rider that can finish in the top ten.

What does that say about that particular rider?

His 2020 motocross results weren't really a ton different than his 2019 motocross results.

It says he is a prim a Donna and that he isn't as valuable as he thinks he is, pretty much what everyone else in this thread has been saying lol. He's always had an attitude, and a low race iq for that matter, but he really turned on the bitch mode after zacho parked his ass for the 250 sx title. Then there was the Tomac MEC thing and losing his ride at Kawi to AC.

Feel for the guy but money isnt everything. What you accomplish in life when nobody gives you a chance is what defines you as a person. Hope savatge finds the mental strength to make it happen. Shame to waste all those years of hard work over money.
