Havoc Pit Bike Takeout!!

Edited Date/Time 11/2/2020 11:04am
Great execution! Sounds like the kid got DQ’d for it which I find to be BS. Bummed we didn’t get to make it down there as it looked like the whole thing was a good time.

I saw it happen, let’s just say the crowd reaction was “mixed” Laughing

Seriously though, $1500 was on the line and those guys were hauling absolute ass. I was running the 110 mod pro class (this was the stock 110 pro class, a lot of the guys were running mod to though) and couldn’t keep up with them at all, it was insane how fast they were going. The race was super fun though, highly recommended for anyone who’s down south with a pitbike.

Lol $1500 for riding a 110 is pretty decent! I would have cleaned out my grandma for that. Besides, Michael went off the track and was WFO until he got back on the track. All clean and fair in my eyes.

I’m going to try to make it to the next one. How did you do?

That was a stock class. Id say a tear down would be.justified. allot of people race by the rules. They shouldn't be punished for that.

Eh, my main wasn’t stellar. I twisted my already tender ankle again about two laps in while running third and by the time I realized it wasn’t that bad I was already too far behind. Stupid move on my part, I should have just stayed in it but when it happened I really thought I jacked it up again so I slowed up for one straight away to assess the damage and then I realized it wasn’t as bad as I thought.

I went down there to help my friend promote an electric pitbike he’s been working on and I’ve been supplying some parts for and show how fast it was and I think we succeeded in doing that since I held 3rd place for a while, but I really wish I would have just taken the risk and stayed in the thick of the battle. Hind sight is 20/20 but after all the work they put in being able to at least battle for a podium would have been a great thank you, now that I realize it wasn’t really re-injured much I feel like crap for bowing out like that and letting the pack go by. Live and learn I guess, but pitbikes and bum ankles don’t mix well. . .

Holy fuck Mr Rocket got roasted hahaha.

That was an epic take out.
If Leib didn't cut the track like that it wouldn't of been so savage

I watched that saturday at Elsinore, god damn those guys are fast.
I’m not down with spending 25k on a pit bike though. Some of those bikes are beyond insane.

Now I feel bad that I left before that happened.

Michael didn’t cut the track. The other Palmer brother crashed before the finish line jump forcing him off the top of the jump and off the track. He lost about a 20 bike lead. He got back on at the first opening. Michael will post the video tomorrow. Bummer that The take out broke Michael’s leg. And bummer for the Palmers not finishing. The racing was really good. Too bad it ended up that way. Injuries are a big part of the sport but when riders get hurt from an intentional take out it’s unacceptable. Props to Havoc for penalizing Palmer.

You’re failing to realize that michaels leg was broken before this and that he even told everyone there he was wearing riding boots because of it. Props to Havoc?? As soon as you protested they bent over for you. Yea he got back at the first opening but was also hanging off the back of it wide open down the side of the track and still got cleaned out. You guys are clowns.

So if you go off of the track you have the full right to go WFO next to the track? That sounds like cutting the track to me....

His foot was broken in 2015 and talas navicular fused in 2017. The take out fractured the fib. Totally unrelated. As for the protest where you at the riders meeting? Havoc was very clear that dirty riding would not be tolerated and they would DQ. What planet do you come from to think that a move like that is acceptable in moto or any other sport?

For $1,500, I’m doing the same damn thing. Personally, I don’t see a problem with what happened.

I know people who’ve broken legs on mini’s going a lot slower than that for no money at all, and still laugh about it because they were riding little miniature dirt bikes. Take outs on pit bikes are the funnest part.

Let’s look beyond ML riding along the track and pretend he was on the track. You’d think a rider with his background and racing knowledge would know to protect the inside and not leave the door so wide open.

Agreed!

He should have known better. He should be pissed at himself for leaving the door open. Protesting over that was BS and the fact that Havoc bent over for ML is going to be the downfall of that little series. I guess we will see, but I can’t see this being good for them.

Multiple people there said the announcer was egging on bar banging and take outs, so there’s that also.

The downfall of that series was not allowing beer.

From this angle it looks like ML has plenty of room to even jump back on the track before the rollers...

Well if that was a stock class they should have been torn down for that amount of money. They have those classes for riders to be competitive at different levels.

All that damage but buddy who did the takeout in slip on vans is fine? Leave it to the crazy "mini dad" to protest kids that are half his sons age.

On a side note... probably shouldn't be using your business page on Instagram to say "f yous" to 16 year old kids.
