Ironman Mudder as well?

I drove threw Indiana Tuesday. It was very muggy, a lot more than Tn. Or Ga. Chicago supposed to be 100 today. I hope the race transporters don,t have problems with the Dot. This week is another revenue maker- national brake safety- inspecting equipment, drivers paper work, cargo, permits, elog.

Been digging around and didn't see it anywhere but:
Does this race have a spectator cap or will there be any issues with buying a ticket at the gate saturday morning?

Been watching radar all day. It’s not looking promising. That hurricane hasn’t started to head east yet and it just keeps going north. I think it’s going to be wet this weekend unfortunately

As the time draws closer and the forecast gets more accurate, it looks like it's going to be a close brush with the remnants of the hurricane passing just south of the track. Might get some rain from the outer bands. How much remains to be seen but doesn't appear it will be full on biblical.

Just checking the radar, it looks like Hurricane Laura and the big storm to the north are pushing against each other. The northern Laura rain just evaporated away, so fingers crossed the she goes east now and leaves us with a nice track.

Press day was only supposed to be at the first round, for the rest of the races they aren't doing it.

Anyone in Crawfordsville now ? Just curious how things are looking. probably not gonna make the 3 hour drive if it gets drenched. I’ve already been to two gnarly mudders there over the years lol. not worth the trip to me 😄

I just alerted Factory Kawi to this. They are now in the race shop making the following mods to Eli's bike

- Completely waterproofed wiring harness

- Small block Chevy clutch

- External 2 gallon oil tank

- 3 fans

- 45% throttle limiter

- PAM cooking spray injection under the fenders
Honestly though they should just fill most of the crankcase with oil.
I wondered if that was why JMart's bike started smoking early. Overfill the crankcase with oil and let her smoke. Maybe keep everything a little cooler and cleaner with a surplus of oil in there.

So this track runs 50% dry or mud conditions.

It’s quite a spectacular track so I want to see it dry and racey

Ya man it’s becoming a crap shoot every year. Such a sweet track and facility. I just don’t have it in me to drive 3 hours in the pouring rain again lol .. I guess I’ll just smoke a brisket and have some beers and turn on the gold app and be there in spirit

I'm 5 miles away from track an it's freakin pouring down rain. Feels like 2018 Ironman all over again.
