Say a little prayer for our boy Mike. He was out cycling today in Florida and was hit by a truck going 70mph who then took off. All that is known was it was a red Chevy truck. If you’re in Florida and hear of anything, please reach out. Seems like he’ll be OK, they are waiting for results from CT scan now. But this person needs to be brought to justice.

I Stayed with him and applied pressure to his head until the EMTs arrived, He has a pretty bad head injury. Please keep the man in your prayers. Didn't AC get hit not too long ago? It's the exact reason I won't road ride with my buddies. We all MTB together, but when they grab tights and skinny tires, I'm out. Shit was dangerous enough before the modern cell phone was invented.

Seems like over the last couple years there has been more and more pro's that get hit while cycling and those are just the ones we hear about.

I don't ride on the road...motorcycle or bicycle at all because of the freaking lunatics out there that are so engrossed with their phones or anything else that they don't see anything smaller than a dump truck. I've tried it, and it honestly scares the crap out of me.
To the POS that hit my husband on his bicycle this am and then kept driving... do the right thing and turn yourself in! It’s only going to make things easier for you because if you don’t I will not stop looking for you until I find you!!! You basically left my husband on the side of the road to die!!! Thankfully we are home now and Mike is doing ok. He has a lot of cuts and some stitches and staples on his head!! Thank you everyone for all your kind prayers and reaching out to us. Anyone in the North Florida area be on the look out for a RED CHEVY TRUCK possibly with a black hood!! And damage to the right bumper/light area. (From hitting my husband so hard) It happened around 8:25 this am on US1 in Callahan by the ship inn. If you know who this person is or know this vehicle or even see this vehicle please write down the license plate and call the police!!!
