Dude, I’m glad we don’t “play that card” down here. Bring them all. Bring the best. Let’s race.

Suits your agenda well.

In the big picture, I guess I don't care too much. The series is all in Ontario and Quebec anyway. Or Upper Canada if we are being historical. Tell your guy Matt to watch out for the French Canadian girls Whistling
His girl, Erin, will whoop their asses. Live...in full color; but, only in English.

Did ya miss the history where I posted about Wright on the Gopher Dunes Honda 450? Even he will tell you he has no bigger a fan than your.’s, truly.

Again, I’m jus’ sayin’...

As to my agenda? May the fastest racer win.

Yeah he was flying at the AMO provincial at Gophers a few weeks ago. It was impressive.

We have a few guys coming up I think will make the maple leaf proud. Wright is just one of them.

TWard is ready and going fast in the 250 class. GDR is looking good.

This year the races are supposed to air Live on Fox Sports Racing and MAVTV as well. That said, I'm not sure if that's just in Canada or the US as well.

They're also usually posted in the race thread I do for each race, so you can catch them there later the next day or so.

Well that's on our relatively porous border control. But believe me, out west the public are demanding the federal government keep control of the border. Unfortunately a shit-ass province like Quebec will probably let everyone in anyway.
Its actually BC and Alberta that are probably the worst for letting people through the border. All they have to do is say they are driving up to Alaska and they are in. Tons of people reporting Americans visiting throughout BC and Alberta.

Yes this is a documented problem. It has been raised by both provinces but seems to be of little concern to the federal govt.

To talk more Moto, thoughts on Marco Cannella for 2020?

He was at the Walton Pro test day and looked really good. Then I took a few pictures of him at Gopher's on Thursday and he looked comfortable there also. Ryder McNabb and Quinn Amyotte are also in the mix.

Here are the results from the first 2 AMO Ontario Provincials. Many of the top guys are using them to get some gate drops in before the Nationals start.

I’m sure excited for the series whether I’m racing or not. Having your papers and ducks in a row is key. It’ll be a different year and I’m excited to see how a 2 day format works out.

Is Jess Pettis healthy and back up to speed? Really liked his progress before that injury last year.

To be quite honest, I'm not sure. I just know they'll race moto 1 on Saturdays and moto 2 and 3 on Sundays.
How many minutes are the motos? I watched the races in Canada a few times. Great tracks, fast racers. Ross Peterson top 5 guy against Baily, Johnson. Jean s. Roy on Black foot Honda at red bud, looked fast. I speak a little French , in his pit at red Bud I picked up on some of his crews talk. I had a work permit in 95 , to legally work in the country, when we drilled under the Ottawa river. Helped Chad Johnson and Josh Demooth,s Yahmaha team with inventory on there race transporter and tips to enter Canada . Back to back runs from port Newark nj. Or Chicago to Canada, 49k tanker of chocolate. Awesome people to work with, m&m mars in New Market always gave me 2 boxes of 36 count Milky Way candy bars. Unbelievable delicious fresh off the production line. Deliveries in Toronto was a trip, sharing the street with a electric train.

MRC/Jetwerx changed the rules this year to try and help out with the lappers situation, so they shortened the motos by 5 minutes.

The races are now 25 minutes +2 laps.

I personally think it's lame.

I agree that’s very lame, if anything address lappers a different way not shortening the motos.

I don't think Mike is racing this year. Who knows, he might show up for a couple rounds as a privateer, but I wouldn't count on it.

The gp,s had 3 motos years ago. Riders said it was harder. Who ever is great at starts, would be fired up.

Tremblay, as you would expect also looked comfortable in the sand. Just shredded the dunes! Sick kit also.

Anyone know of any privateers to successfully cross the border? I was told to not even try it. I’d be coming from Florida so it would be a big waste of money to drive up there and have to turn around.

Most if not all of the American guys that are up here have work visa's that permit them to be here. I'm not sure about any of the privateers.

I think your best bet would be to call MRC/Jetwerx and ask them. They might have more information in regards to that.

Might also be worth a try to hit up Ryan Dowd on Instagram. He finished in the top 10 last year and is not on any team. I'm not sure what his plans are, but I would assume he's trying to come back to race the Triple Crown Series. He might know what to do.

Ah okay having a work visa makes sense, I didn’t even think about that. I’ve never crossed the border into Canada and I guess this would be a hell of a year to do it lol. I did talk to someone at MRC. That’s who told me he didn’t think it would work. Just curious if anyone had done it yet.
