before SLC #2? Apparenlty it was pointed towards Tomac and Roczen. Was it just, "let's race boys" or w.e. Ralph said or is there more to this?

It sounds like he was doing some good old fashion trash talk. Webb comes across a lot as having a dry cocky attitude but really he seems like a cool/funny guy. Some people just don't present as well as others in interviews, just like on the internet...

I love it. Him and Tomac put on a great fucking race yesterday. That fact he is even racing after his crash earlier this year is still incredible to me. it’s a shame he had these problems earlier. A battle to the wire between him and Tomac would be epic.

Honestly, this is the only way for him to still have a shot at this title. If he can provoke Tomac and force him into a mistake he will be there to pick up the pieces. He's got Kenny covered for second, we know that now

Personally never been a big fan of CWebb2 but if this is in fact accurate I’d have to applaud him for attempting to spice things up a bit. The sport could use more flare/banter/personalities/verbal rivalries. The fact this even made headlines speaks to how overly-vanilla the sport is.

Pretty good that Webb is racing after the crash and to keep pressuring like that is helping to have hopefuly great battles til the end..

Otherwise these last races would not be so damn good!

Believe it or not his crash didn’t have that big of an impact points wise. He’s somehow managed to perform better after the crash compared to previous. He was also super fortunate to crash out during a triple crown so was able to salvage a 12th instead of 22nd. Since then he’s yet to finish off the podium going 3, 3, 2, 1, 2. ET3 has just simply been on fire over that same span going 1, 4, 1, 1, 2, 1.

So even if Webb had finished 2nd in Dallas instead of crashing out and ending up 12th he’d still be staring at a 20pt deficit.

One mishap from Tomac and Webb is back in it. As you very well know, "mishap" is Tomac's middle name. So far this year though he looks like he changed it to "solid". Then again anything can happen.

I'd bet that has a lot to do with his and the misses pregnancy, & birth of their first child.
I don't have any kids, but man I've seen it push a lot of guys, even the great guys, to the next level in their maturity. No shock why. I do love seeing it, too.
