I’m going racing tonight. *UPDATED with recap!*

OMC in Norman, OK is hosting round one of the hot summer nights series. I’m expecting several hundred entires for the SX style heat-main formatted event.

Facility owner Rodney Berryhill and GAME company moto coach Gregg Albertson have crowd sourced a 100% plus donation purse now in the couple grand for open pro sport. I’m expecting 15-20 pro riders with names such as Dustin Winter, Chase Marquier, Michael Hicks, Isaiah Clark, Grant Harlan, Chandler Baker, Nick Maret, Preston Taylor, Brayden Brunk, Zack Duran, Caleb Conner, Jeremi Williamson, and a laundry list of regional hitmen looking to cash in on the first race of the season. Gregg has advertised it as the pro stimulus shootout.

I’ll be running my GoPro in the pro sport main, aboard my Cycle Zone KTM 250sx. Also I’ll be on vendors row with my coffee brand Gimmick and good times merch from Muf Mufflers. If you’re in the area come by my yellow tent and pick up some product before watching some national caliber talent in OKC’s back yard.

So stoked to be back to racing. Love this track, my bike, and motocross.

Good Luck Jeff, and have Fun. I always slow down driving past that track. I-35 just south of exit 107, south of OKC. I was shocked by How awesome the track is. Super wide, big safe jumps, killer layout. It,s Like a track from the future.

This is a little bit of the problem with MX there is way too much sitting around. It is 11:45 and we are still waiting to race our last motos. Too many classes, we have rode less than 10 laps since being here.

Just sitting here remembering what it was like to race and also drop a few hundred for just 10 laps of riding. Hopefully the tracks open here soon.

Is this place where the Intrepid Go Kart track is/was? Its been a long time since Ive been out there, but I do remember putting in a lot of laps on the kart track.

Was a great time last night, I was 2nd in the +30, We had a great vet class turn out. Pro class was exciting to watch with all the post race drama! Definitely ran LATE into the night.
