Seems his life gone downhill after career ended. He thinks he is/was bigger player in industry but he was just Weimer type of second rider without much personality for bigger crowds. There are 1000 new riders coming up and currently racing that most of factories see more potential guys and cant blame them. Seely had great career and sure was awesome rider that no one here in vital can match but he makes him self look less of star with these comments after career.
Yeah it must suck living by the beach in oc doing whatever he wants every day.

Holy speculation batman. Why don't you guys just wait and hear what he has to say before you pass judgement on the guy? One teaser post and you all are in here talking cash shit about Cole like you have any idea what he's even referring to. What a joke.

So now that he's retired it's totally cool to shit all over him and speculate?

Y'all bitch non stop anout how opaque the indusrty is and this guy actually wants to let sunshine in on some of the bullshit the industry does and you sum bitches go ballistic on his ass.

Never cease to amaze. I was in the industry for a short time and sorry folks, we're not dealing with the best and the brightest here. There's a shit ton of petty, stupid shit that does go on and should he called out.

I don't give one fuck about the brain trust running this sport into the ground and the way you all suckle the teet like somehow your paycheck depends on it is disgusting. Grow some balls people.

So when he does a instragram post like that with no detail on who he is talking about then everyone should just sit patiently and what for him to spill the beans? He wanted a reaction so he is getting one, if he did not want a reaction he would of actually posted more detail about what the heck he is talking about....fair?

There is absolutely no issue with anyone speculating, the post invites speculation. I do agree with 'shitting' on him, that is not cool. And there is a BIG difference between speculating and shitting on someone.
He didn't post anything. It was gypsy podcast. Now what?

Yea, having your own clothing company and investing in a coffee start up while free riding dirt bikes every day in the hills and doing project builds living in a million dollar house in OC By the beach sounds like his life has gone down hill. Where can I sign up for my life to go downhill too? Sounds like it’s a good time

Well, maybe they Did require him to return it.

Wasn't 'given', but lent to him?

That, would be fair enough.

It's their Property, one would assume.

And, something that may be fairly special to them, that they may not want to end up seeing up on EBay, down the track.

Maybe they've also asked for other items of theirs back, too?

Fair enough, as well.

He's always seemed to be a pretty good bloke, I do hope this is no more than a storm in a teacup, or, a bit of a shit stir.

Seely and I are the same age, our generation is so out of touch with how life is, your old news brother sorry. In moto you only as good as your last race. In construction your only as good as your last hour, Show up everyday and work hard, mess up one thing and “you suck”. it’s life your not racing anymore move on. Whiner

A lot of companies are pulling back on their marketing budget in light of the current coronavirus situation. Matthes mentioned this week that some sponsors had pulled out of his podcasts. Toyota of Escondido asked for all their trucks back from guys like Colt Nichols, Axell Hodges, swapmoto etc.

A "Youtube Influencer" is probably going to get their support cut before an actual racer or team. Looks like Honda may have cut Cole's support based on the clues in this thread.

You could be right, because in one of his Instagram Stories he did yesterday, he had a Fresh KTM 450 in the Back of his Truck while Driving to the Hills.

What kind of monthly income do you suppose is required to maintain all that he has and all that he does? Put a number on it please.

I always liked him. Took me a while to figure out why...Laughing Early Elsinore for the win.

Yeah, agreed. The old saying of don't burn bridges truly does mean a lot.

However I am willing to give Cole the benefit of the doubt, wait for the podcast and see what he has to say. On the flip side it will only be one side of the story, since this is now somewhat out in the public really hope we get to hear both sides. I have no reason to believe Cole is a liar, I honestly am a fan of the guy both during and after racing, its just sometimes perspective and info unknown to the other side in issues like this really can play a huge role.

Maybe he's pissed at Taco Bell, hence the Chipotle plug. Hell, I don't know. Can't care too much, I've got much larger issues to worry about than a little pissing contest.Pinch

I thought the hate on here was going to be for Gypsy getting the podcast.

Not sure what’s with all the hate on Cole. He was always one of my favourite riders and branded himself differently than any other 450 rider IMO. Adidas, TLD, NOT ENERGY DRINKS. Clearly a lot of you guys don’t realize how much “influencers” actually influence people. Is he going to target as many people as Dungey? Hell no. The dude knows he wasn’t the “top dog”, but my god guys he was running top 10 all of the time. If you don’t think a guy a year out of professional racing isn’t relevant anymore you’re crazy. Just my opinion.

He had an energy drink sponsor in 2017. I don't remember the brand but it was something new and he had their logos on his helmet.

Yes, it was something new and a healthier alternative. My main point being is that he represented unique brands. Spy goggles was another one.

The Gypsy Tales post is a screen shot of Cole's post...Sherlock....

Might be good to have at least a general idea of how Social Media works if you want to call someone out about it

Seems he may feel getting thousands of dollars of free parts for "builds" is as hard as putting it on the box in 450SX and 450MX. When i quit my last job they stopped paying me. Shocking right?
