I’m going back to a high protein, low/no carb eating plan as of this evening...that includes LOTS of water. I dropped as much as RC has three years ago, and felt great. A divorce & business failure caused me to stress out & eat poorly again...and it all came back. I know exactly what works...for me, at least. So I’m going back to that.

He's getting pretty thin. What do you think he's doing? He's probably talked to Emig about diet. I barely recognized Carmichael in the photos I saw of the riding camp he just did. He's really lost a lot of weight.

You guys act as if he's never been in shape before or he doesn't know what he's doing.

It's real simple, we are hunters and gatherers, so eat like one or you are doing it wrong. Doritos, Coca Colas, and French Fries did not exist for hunters and gatherers to pick from bushes or trees. Don't eat this junk and expect to be in shape unless you work out 2hrs every day.

Stick to veggies, berries, greens, fruits, eggs, and occasional protien and watch your spare tires disappear. My experience is 85% diet and 15% exercise.

Carbs..... are the devil.

...and Im a carbaholic. Sad

No they aren’t. Only thing that matters for weight loss or gain is calories. Eat more then maintenance and you’ll gain. Eat less and you’ll lose. I mean, you don’t want to eat nothing but carbs but yea, they aren’t holding anyone back from losing weight.

So stupid but calorie deficiency and eating right foods to get the vitamins during deficiency to keep you fueled and energized was my trick to 60lbs in 3 months. I also believe fueling your body with small fueling 5 times a day keeps the fat burn going as well. Here the program I had major success with and felt totally energize majority of the time.

Protein is extremely important, obviously theres a butt ton of protein in eggs but protein in general is extremely important for weight loss

Everything you eat is energy doesn’t matter what it is and either you burn it or store it... seems pretty simple to me!

I have several friends that have had the gastric surgery to improve their quality of life. These people are so much happier with themselves because of it an able to enjoy things they usually struggle with. Well worth it. This was my initial thoughts when I saw RC this season. Glad to see the GOAT looking great

Burn more calories than you take in. It’s that simple, unless something is wrong with your body
This, and only this, according to the first law of thermodynamics. Even people with pituitary issues cannot generate “something out of nothing”, which gaining weight while in caloric deficit would be.

You are a lucky one then. There are exceptions like yourself. I have a friend who eats like shit and doesn't exercise and he's shredded....pure genetics.

This right here^

Anything greasy or a lot of red meat makes me feel like crap later, I try to keep my meals simple.

It's easy to overcome a great exercise program with a poor diet.

I tried everything from fad diets to working out 5 days a week, doing both at the same time for 10 years. nothing really worked. last June I stopped lifting , limited my carb intake to 50G a day and just kept riding my dirt bike. Ive lost almost 40lbs. Diet is huge. Ricky looks good. I am happy for the GOAT.
