Ok who here has the arc powerlever. I can’t run the softer chip settings without the clutch being partially engaged when it’s against my fingers. Will removing the judder spring and adding a regular plate move the bite point out a little bit? Has anyone run the arc piston in their clutch master cylinder. The guy from arc said it moves more fluid sooner which should get the bite point out where I want it but I’d like some first hand experience.
I had the same issues. I ended up with a full Hinson clutch/fiber setup and I believe 2 or 3 of the Hinson springs. Running the chip that is close to stock. Put a little more free play in the lever than 1mm. Seems to work. Only ridden it once this way.

Little update on mine. Waiting for winter to break here. Anyone found a decent front disc cover that isn’t axle mounted? Would love the CRM that Factory kawi uses. Been calling lightspeed since last November and it’s “in production”......

Just put on the Rekluse slave cylinder.
Feels like the engagement is a bit further out.
Riding tomorrow and will see what difference there is.
Also ordered upper and lower chain rollers from TM Designworks.

Anyone else had to replace the stator??

Just picked up the only 19 leftover I could find and greasing everything today.

Could someone with a service manual please post the page(s) for removing and installing steering stem?

I'am Looking at Honda(Which I've ridden since 1989) after a 4 year Hiatus. Lotta info on the 19 KX anyone ride, own and or able to compare it to the 19 CRF 450?

45 B rider typically stick with stock stuff minus chain and tires Wink

I went from a 17 CRF450 and love the KX. Easier bike for setup and not nearly as picky when it comes to suspension and very confidence inspiring for me.

40 hours here. Checked the valves at 10 hours and adjusted them, checked again at 30 and they were perfect. Looking to do a top end at 45-50 hours.

Nah they only make the axle mounted ones. IMO those look like 💩. Looking for one that mounts outboard like the factory teams run.

No just a battery after 5 hours and that's been the only problem all year .

Picked up my new to me 19 a couple days back, haven't had a chance to ride it yet.

Quick question, how long do the battery's hold charge for? Will it slowly drain away if not being used frequently? Should I be firing it up once a week if I'm not using just to keep some charge and use into it?

the battery will hold a charge for quite a while, but i keep a tender on mine. if you get one, make sure it's the correct one...

Put my ride clamps on yesterday
Need to change my backgrounds to white before racing next weekend.
A bit more Ti bolts just for well no real reason.

I've had my '19 since Sept and have only put 10 hrs on it (roughly10 rides). No battery tender at all. No problems.

Got mine in July of 2018, never put it on a tender, have 45 hours on it and didn't ride for almost 9 months after a knee surgery Still starts up right away.

How much is the stator gonna run you? Cheapest one I found was 250 for a new take off on eBay.

I think this is the best looking use of gray plastics on this bike I've seen yet. Nicely done.

I have the Arc Powerlever. I would think that changing the judder spring would help. Play with the chips and see which one does what you like. You can get it just right

I'm rolling the dice on one from EbaY as well for $200..New they're about $450, but found a dealer that would hook me up for $340. Hope the $200 ebay special works. I've never had a stator go out... weird.

Rode it Saturday/Sunday and after a little bit of ride time it seems the clutch broke in some and I was able to switch to the lightest chip. I have to run the lever a tad further out than I’d like to get it to engage where I want but if that’s the worst that happens I’ll be happy. Now this rear brake on the other hand, I felt like an idiot all weekend randomly stalling in certain corners. I may need to order the 18 caliper bracket and rotor

Picked up the ti brackets they look sweet. Going to order ti pins and the new raptor apex pegs. Moving original raptors to the kx250 I'm building.
