Yea that’s the part that had me surprised. Not that the public ban is great either. But the starting of your own bike on your own property resulting in a fine/seizure of your stuff is cynical. I couldn’t imagine bolting on the Ti 2.1 powercore i just put on my 250sx and not letting my neighbors hear the harmonious ballad of noise (without the bog) that it creates and have to pay a fine lol.

That being said, there are some teeny tiny signal kits that'll fit right into the fenders for the most part that I'm pretty sure pass muster.

NJ sucks for off-road bikes too. I can still start bikes on my own property though, so I guess it could be worse....Sick
us moto guys aren't doing that. With registering in CT add registration fees, property tax and required on road insurance plus a motorcycle license.

It blows my mind that they want to hurt us power sports owners on our own property but don't do ANYTHING to the street wheelie idiots.

The town should just crank up the noise enforcement on the loud trucks and cruiser bikes to 1000$ a pop. That is the real noise issue.

Yup, obnoxious straight piped street bikes of any mfg, and diesel pickups with the goofy smoke stack taking up about a square foot of the bed and belching black smoke get a pass, but don't let some kid ride a 50 in his parent's yard. Senseless.

Practice doesnt start until 10am due to not being able to start your bikes before then. No kids classes.

You also have emission and noise standards all MX bikes will not pass for street legal usage.

Ok. I didn't know CT was so different from NJ with bike laws.

I guess NJ just wants that registration money and is happy with a pay-to-play system. Roadside "inspections" are supposedly a thing, but I've never witnessed or been subject to one. License, register, insure, at least make an effort to appear compliant, and ride.

I'm not sure why anybody is surprised. This is just another leftist, coastal elite continued push for absolute power over all they rule. It's nice living in the Heartland/Fly-Over-Country where stuff like this DOES NOT occur. We encourage people to ride offroad.
